Do not touch anything of this crowd. They make all there money off subscriptions you cannot cancel Be warned Do not even download there app.
The technicians came around, "fixed" my washing machine, they gave me the bill when they left and it included a pump item... I made half the payment to check if the machine was working and it did 2 cycles and then then should the exact same error..... I didn't want to pay the balance because they didn't show me the pump part they replaced which is normal with people who replace parts, also, it is highly unlikely that they would just be driving around with such a part in their vehicle so it was rather suspicious... I called them to ask them to come back to meet with my husband and show us what part exactly they replaced because the washing machine is exactly they way it was before they came out... and they told me that if I did't pay the full amount they would not come back to my premies. Now they will not answer my calls, I have asked for the owner to call me and nothing... they are ignoring me for 3 weeks now so I would be very concerned to use these people. Now I see all their other bad reviews,
For 4 months we have a problem with Telkom and we have got 5 reference numbers and get told that someone will come back to us but no one ever does.
As always, Service at Telkom is non existent, the company has not bothered to come back to me with any feedback in 3 months. No one in management has come back to me in 3 months after staff promising over and over they would. This company has fallen so badly now that I will be taking all my products after 35 years and hand it to another company and I suggest anyone wanting to purchase any Telkom product think hard before doing so. These people take my money with no accountability or responsibility towards me the customer.
3 Months ago I went to a store to get a plan for my mom and the store guy told me that I am silly to be paying such a high price on my Smart plan deal which had expired years ago but I kept paying it because I loved the service, no buffering, no problems with my 5 children all on the internet at the same time, my husband and I run a home office, no throttling EVER!!!! I told the sales guy that I would only change if he promised I would get the same uncapped service, and I stressed it over and over and over in the shop at the Waterfront and he kept saying to my husband and myself that technology has changed and we can pay way less for the exact same service, Then we go home, thinking all is well, we realised the upload speed was bad, the download speed non existent, we were being throttled... we go back to the waterfront and they tell us we must wait 3 months before we can migrate back to our old service, what rubbish. We go to Canal walk only to find out that the Sales guy at the Waterfront flat out lied to us... OR he does not know what a good package I really was on. So telkom does not have a Smartplan deal so now they want me to migrate to a 2 terabyte service, I DON'T WANT THIS SERVICE, I WANT MY OLD SERVICE BACK, where is the accountability and responsibility of your sales people making such a huge era and ONLY THE CUSTOMER SUFFERS. I WANT MY SMART PLAN BACK, I DON'T CARE YOU AT TELKOM DONT HAVE THESE PLANS, MAKE A PLAN. I want my Smart plan month to month that I had back.... I laid 5 complaints at the telkom offices, each time they say someone will get back to me and 5 times no one ever got back to me... I was told it was escalated high up by 2 managers and still no answer... It is month 4 now and I am still not getting any senior person picking up the phone for an apology and my old service back. I have 2 reference numbers 64276008 and 64503068 I WILL RATHER PAY MORE THAN HAVE TO MIGRATE OUT OF PRINCIPAL.
I want to put in a formal complaint of one of their suppliers - Rain and there is no place for me to send an email to get a response from Take a lot. I find this unacceptable as they should have a place were you can report bad service from one of the products take a lot is selling. We the customers think that if a item is sold on Take a lot that it is a good product but there is more than 5000 bad reviews about Rain and yet take a lot has no way for us the clients to report them and get them booted off Take a lot. I find this unacceptable, If you have problems with Amazon they will boot Rain off so I suggest someone from take a lot get back to me. Go look at all the bad reviews about Rain, which now looks like take a lot is supporting Rains scam.
I have called Discovery insure 3 times today and spoken to 3 different consultants and each time the phone has cut off from Discovery's side and not one agent has called me back. I find this completely unacceptable.
I am trying to get hold of a support person to cancel my monthly payment as it is a month to month contract and there is no email address to cancel, there is no support on the website and when I go into my own profile by login in, there is still no electronic support that helps you cancel on line. This seems more like a very clever scam to keep you as a client. I am not happy and both email addresses that rain has provided don't work. The one which is info@rain.co.za is no longer and the other which is support@rain.co.za sends you a message back saying login and get support and when I do that there is no place to cancel.
These people are fraudsters, don't use them. They have some small print BS that says if you don't renew your subscription... then they will just bill you R995 when your subscription runs out. No notification is sent to you to remind you, which is what most subscriptions will do to entice you to take a extra month, or 3 months or 6 months, but this crowd just takes R995 and then tells you, sorry, too late, nothing we can do about it. There is also no option to then change this to a longer subscription so the entire thing is set up wrong and look at all the unhappy people... they could have being a great dating site but they are not interested in the longevity and credibility they could have gotten with out this greed. Their time will come.
ADT is a monopoly that should not be allowed to operate as they are.. They con you with a free package but it is the lower of lower grades entry level system and they tell you its a 24 month contract... which to most people I have asked, means like most contracts the phone, or system is yours there after... not with this bunch. After installation they have a follow up call and only then do they make it very clear that you are now renting their system and it stays there system even after the 24 months. This to me is shocking and they laughing all the way. Just like everything in the world today. The monopoly's are growing faster and all the middle class working for them are doing nothing about it or questioning their superiors. They all just accept this robbery. They are all like Robots working for ADT. If you can avoid using them, which is difficult because they are everywhere. Their sales staff over sell and underdeliver, and their technical is some times good and other times shocking and some times just blatant lies.
