FORMAL COMPLAINT – INCORRECT DEFAULT COURT JUDGMENT AND NEGATIVE CREDIT LISTING BY FEVER TREE FINANCE/ FURNITURE WAREHOUSE I hereby lodge a formal complaint against Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse regarding an incorrect default court judgment and negative credit listing that has been recorded against my name, which is materially prejudicing my credit status. In or around 2022, I entered into a credit agreement with Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse for the purchase of furniture. However, the agreement was not honoured by the supplier in the following material respects: 1. The furniture items ordered were not delivered within the agreed timeframes. 2. The full order was never delivered, despite repeated follow-ups and correspondence. 3. Notwithstanding the above, Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse commenced debiting my bank account, and I also made manual payments in good faith, despite the contract not being fulfilled in full. Despite their failure to perform in terms of the agreement, Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse proceeded to: • Claim an incorrect outstanding balance, • Obtain a default court judgment against my name, and • Record a negative listing on my credit profile, without properly resolving the dispute or accounting for non-delivery and payments made. I dispute both the existence and the amount of the alleged debt. The claimed balance is not correct, as it does not take into account: • Goods not delivered, • Partial fulfilment of the order, and • Payments already made by me. I further wish to place on record that I am in possession of emails, payment records, and supporting documentation which clearly demonstrate that: • Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse failed to deliver the full order, and • Their claim and subsequent default judgment are factually incorrect and misleading. REQUESTED RELIEF I respectfully request the Ombudsman to investigate this matter and to direct Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse to: 1. Remove and rescind the default court judgment recorded against my name; 2. Remove all adverse credit listings relating to this account from all credit bureaus; 3. Write off the disputed debt in full, as it is incorrect and arises from their own breach of contract; and 4. Provide written confirmation that my credit profile has been corrected accordingly. This matter has caused me significant prejudice and reputational harm, and I submit that the conduct of Fever Tree / Furniture Warehouse is unfair, unreasonable, and contrary to consumer protection and credit legislation. I am willing to submit all supporting evidence upon request and look forward to the Ombudsman’s intervention to resolve this matter fairly and lawfully. Withdrawals/ Winnings not being sent to my bank account, winnings not being recorded or received in my hollywoodbets account and transactions or statements no longer showing on my account...... Can this *****ulent company be dealt with and closed down PLEASE!!!
I have been trying to get hold of Old Mutual (2+ years) regarding my investments with them, and till to date, with no success. Can someone at Old Mutual tell me whats going on, cause I am now in a panic since I feel like my money just went down the drain. Old Mutual Super Fund.....
Good day, I purchased a MTN Mondo contract last month on the 9th and it it is almost a month now and I still havent revent my package, and this after a number of calls I made to them. Every time I call, its either I am put on hold or I am told that there was a glitch on the MTN with releasing the router and the Uncapped data SIM card. I also called MTN at some point and they referred me to Mondo without any much of assistance. I told know what to do anymore please assist.
I have been using the MTN Extra time service for quite some time now and lately I have been very disappointed and very saddened by the service I have been receiving from MTN. For a number of times I have been recharging my account and they would take their balance due, but the problem is that for too many times I have been trying to recharge using their extra time service, but I would either get NO airtime or up to R15.00 balance on my airtime, even though I recharge for more than R15.00. This morning I recharged twice, for R30.00 and I got R15.00, and I tried again for R20.00, and I received R5.00. From the earlier recharge, I didn't call or send any sms or whatsoever, but my airtime was all of a sudden R10.00. With all the transactions I have done, I got LESS or NO airtime, but the extra time balance keeps on going up, and I have to recharge to pay back airtime never received. I cannot keep on recharging my account for airtime I never received or used. Can someone at MTN please explain to me what is going on and where is my airtime going. I need this to be resolved and my airtime to be corrected. I also need them to provide me with a record of the amounts I loaded on my account and the amounts I used on the extra time account for the past 3 months so that I can verify the charges or transactions. I have been trying to call their customer service numbers, but i cant even go through or get any assistance from their automated self-service options. I find this as an unacceptable business practice and bad customer service. We all work hard for our money and it is very disheartening that companies like MTN can easily take it just like that.
I have been asking for a statement of account to see how far I am from settling the capitec account I had, but till this day, it is difficult for them to send me a statement. How do I know if the account is being updated accordingly and correctly if I cant get a statement? I really need help with this because it is *****ing my credit record. I cant even get credit due to this never ending account.
