I have been doing business with Grindrod logistics for less than 3 months, but I've had enough there's a racist general manager by the name of Muhammad Hassim he's based in Johannesburg in this few months I have to practically beg for payment for services rendered and now it's become worse because I'm black and now I have to prove that I did render the service all because he wants to cut costs so meaning while he's busy investigating I have to continue offering the service for free I guess because money doesn't suit me.
I have a serious problem with how FH Odendaal Hoerskool treats it's black (African)learners as a parent I know our children sometimes misbehave but the schools code of conduct that says late comers should be sent home that's criminal at best for one my son uses taxis to and from school and South Africa is not a safe place especially for children so no learner should be expected to put his/her life at risk because if they're late at school they will be sent home ,are teachers and principals not there to safeguard our children's safety during school hours and what does the Gauteng dpt of Education say about this practice of FH Odendaal Hoerskool sending learners home because of late coming(this happened to my son who's in Grade 12 , the taxi driver was looking to fill up his taxi leading to my son arriving 5 minutes late at school and deserving to lose the whole days work according to Mr Vermeulen so the teacher sent my son home and my question is shouldn't the learners right to Education be paramount and shouldn't there be another form of punishment more suited like detention after school so my question is why are African children still treated like this in 2023 and how will we build a united country if people like Vermeulen are still allowed to teach our children if they are still stuck in apartheid mentalities?
I bought Nike shoes from Fruugo online because Nike factory didn't have the right size for my wife ,so I paid the full amount including customs , then suddenly things changed I got a call from UPS the courier company saying I have to pay an extra R685.95 for customs so I politely told the lady that I have already paid but she said I had to pay SARS so I contacted Fruugo to understand what's happening then they said I must pay it and they will refund me, so I asked why wasn't I told about the extra money when I ordered the shoes , that's when I told them that I'm not paying the extra money and if they also can't pay it then they must cancel my order .Then they said it's too late to cancel the order but on their return and cancellation policy they said even if you get the shoes and change your mind you can return them for a refund so I fail to understand how's that different from my situation because I haven't received the shoes and yet it's too late to cancel the order. So now I'm going to lose the more than R1700 I already paid them and I won't be getting the shoes because I refused to pay the extra charge so please be wary when dealing with overseas companies like Fruugo because all they want is your money.

Worst service ever from Old Mutual, I have a life policy at Old Mutual and used to have one in 2019 but due to financial problems it was cancelled due to non payment and then last year it was reinstated my financial situation improved greatly so the consultant said since I already done an HIV test previously I didn't have to do another one but he will ask and if he doesn't get back to me then I won't have to do another test so I waited and waited and didn't get a call from him so I assumed all was fine until this month I got an email saying since I didn't do an HIV test so I will only be covered for accidental death only which is unacceptable to me ,so I contacted them and got a call only to be told by another consultant that he will pass through my query it's been days now without anyone contacting me then I emailed them twice but haven't got any response from them but when I enquired about their policies I was contacted immediately so I find myself thinking that was this a trap to get money from me and God forbid I pass away is that how my beneficiaries will be treated and why should I have any confidence in them honouring the policy ,I'm starting to regret being involved with them and I think to be safe it's better I go to a company that will care for me cos OLD MUTUAL surely doesn't
My complaint was finally resolved amicably and I got my refund thanks to Alex
Worst experience ever rude and useless manager at Blade and Triggers Menlyn , I lay byed a Uramex revolver with magazine, pepper and nylon ***** ,so I went there told the manager that I want to cancel my lay bye the proudly told me that the only way I can cancel is if there is a death in the family and he doesn't care even if I report him cause they won't do anything
