KZN, La Lucia: Two months ago my MPPT (RS 450 / 200) blew. To my surprize I found out that one of our neighbours down the road had the similar problem. His also blew. Aparently a bad batch coming from abroad. Local guys offerd to replace with 2 x 100 Mppts. It worked well for 3 days.. and guys what... one stopped working. Its now been a month with only half of solar charge going through to the system. Anyone else having similar problems? We are still awaiting VICTRON's specialist to advize?!?!!? R 750k investement with a limping system. No man!!
For over a month now we have been trying to get hold of ABSA ACTIVATE via email, the app and call centre. (To make changes to the policy) Its astonishing that a leading brand like ABSA still has this as part of their service offering. And such a pity that we have to resort to HELLOPETER. Does anyone have a contact of where to get hold of this company. WE even have our Private Bankers trying to get hold of the right people. Very bitter taste has been left
I have spent a descent amount on Cielo products this last couple of months renovating a new house. Their products are absolutely great, but... to try and track orders is disappointing. They used to have a dedicated tracking system. But now they share a generic system with their holding company.. very confusing. Come on guys.. get back on the horse!
Do your references well for this company. We are getting mixed reviews on this supplier. On more than one client project they were quick to start but completion may take months. The company comes up with all sort of excuses for not returning, even after taking full amount quoted for installation. DO NOT PAY them in full until your borehole and water tank system is working 100%. Numerous clients are complaining that the company owes them credit or a final completion of the project. Their staff turnover is a red flag and breakdown of machinery is always used as an excuse. Will we use or recommend them: A definite NO!

So how do you know if your service on your beloved VW was done with loving care? We had three vehicles serviced at this dealership in the last 20 days. All three came back with the same dusty engines. 2 on Maintenance Plans and 1 Cash Invoiced. This after we have reported the matter to the Services Manager and Dealer Principal. Guess we just have to take their word for it don't we? One thing we can tell you, don't open your bonnet after your service. You will be disappointed! Unless you like your replaced parts in the neat plastic bag to be a lot cleaner than even the plastic engine cover of just serviced beloved VW. Happy Dirty Motoring (at VW McCarthy Umhlanga)
