<div>This is more about after service than the initial installation. I recently upgraded my rental system after excepting a quote. Two weeks after I upgraded, I received an email offer for the same spec system, but for more than R1000 less. I have spoken to sales, unfortunately I signed the contract and well, I am *****ed. That is not good business and not fair towards me. I can understand if I bought something once off and then the price changed, but this is a 7 year contract, that is a huge impact on my finances. I will have to lodge a complaint to the NCC to see whether they can help.</div>
Duwan went all out to make this happen, very happy.
Short version, absa did not submit debit order, I then transferred the owed amount but was late due to absa's failure. My account went into arrears although I transferred the money, their collections were on me because I was in arrears...suddenly a double payment, the one I transfered due to absa's incompetence and another one...immediately, all the statements contradict what the collections and my banking app is telling me. On my last statement dated 21 May 2021, it shows a double payment because it did not reflect the payment I transferred after they failed. Obviously the payment showed after the issue date, hense the double payment, no...apparently that payment was late, I needed to pay another amount even though my statement and app said by 17 June, there was an immediate double payment due. To make my situation worse... apperently according to their consultant, if your Cc limit is 15k and you only use 1k, your installment is still for the full 15k and not only the 1k used. Obviously there is a lot more detail not mentioned here but the point: it is amazing how a bank makes a mistake and makes their customer pay the price...I will be closing my accounts with absa for the second time in 2 years, wonder why you are bleeding clients absa...start listening to your customers and you will start seeing how you fail them.
Whatch out for Conald Auto Spares in Pretoria , they sell used body trim parts for Renault and Nissan in Pretoria North on gumtree, olx etc. They sell you a trim part that has broken clips, therefore can't be fitted successfully. From there it is empty promises to replace the part but nothing happens.
It seems they have a fraudulent credit status system, I applied for a limit increase on the app which was declined, asked why and I was informed that my credit status profile from Transunion showed misconduct. Contacted Transunion, pulled a report which showed no "misconduct", I confirmed that with one of their agents as well. So where does fnb get their reports from? To top that, I cannot apply again, no matter that their info came from somewhere in space, not again for 30 days where the circle then most probably restarts with the misconduct from space. Funny thing is, you are pre-approved for other big loans, which you don't need or want. Be careful people, they obviously have some strategies in place to get you where they want you....
If a guy called Leon cell +27829613739 from Pretoria gives you a quote, be careful, he "fixes" your fridge or whatever, after a few days it does not work as it should, then he starts lieing when you call and does not come back to fix it. He "fixes" fridges/appliences/aircons at you home around Pretoria. A guy called JJ doing home improvements suggested him. Be careful
