Pet Insurance client. I am starting to completely lose faith in oneplan. I tried to load a claim for annual injections for 2 of my dogs. Just to see a message on the app I owe them money for a claim. Was I called the to inform me or get details as the why there is an outstanding? NO!!!! Did I receive and email? NO!!!! I am not even going to waiste my time going through the customer service route. The whatsapp agents either don't know or just simply don't care to assist. And the customer service email line, they take 5+ working days to reply with a half assed response. The service I pay alot of money for every month is getting worse and worse by the second. Not to mention the new cuts to the policies.

My pet insurance premium went up in November, due their a finance incompetence in November, I only realised this now in December. The consultant on whatsapp handling my query Cate Khoza, sends me a client statement, and in her words "Kindly note that there are no changes to your premiums; you have been paying the same premium throughout the year since our last increase." She cannot see on the same statement she is sending, that my premium clearly is different than the previous period. Life is complicated enough, why do we have to deal with bad communication and incompetence?

Due to a lack of functionality on their application, they charged us a R275 plus delivery fee when I cancelled a transactions, 10 seconds after payment, when i noticed the address was wrong. Miraculously Steers started with our food order the second our payment went off, literally in 10 seconds. Steers was probable reheating old burgers and chips. Completely ridiculous.
We move and transferred our Afrihost/Openserve line. I have been struggling for 5 business days to get my lines back up. I have followed ALL instructions from whatsapp support and call centre. I asked for a technician as I suspect its either the fibre router or the lines at the new address. I am still waiting. All I constantly hear is sorry for the inconvenience. Afrihost does not wait for my monthly installment, yet I have to phone 3+ times a day just to hear what is not happening.
Pets - Again no one in the claim department know what is going on. I requested a claim of R1400 on 14 July for one of my dogs. Went to vet on 15 July and submitted the statement and proof of payment for the full value. Claim was finalized AND they then decided to refund me R526from the savings benefit, but deducting the difference from the R1400. I want to know where in my policy does it state that the injection my dog received is ONLY COVERED by the savings. This is not the first time this has happened. Then to top it off, the claim is refunded to the one card, which means as a client I again lose money as the full amount cannot be withdrawn from the card. This after I have numerous times told oneplan pets, never refund to my card, phone me if you need help with thinking.
Just got OVERCHARGED on so called specials as there was NO LIMIT shown on this item or on the shopping cart. Then instead of an item being cancelled, my entire order was cancelled and now i have to WAIT 4 days for a refund. And I can't pay R2k again. Then I called the customer care team and a consultant put the phone down in my ear. You can't speak to a human on the chat, only a useless robot. It's no wonder south africans are starting to prefer amazon over you.
