Trafalgar stole over a million rand from our complex over the years, charged us for electricity with levies and never actually paid city power. Today city power has come and cut off the power from our complex! We are literally paying R6000 a month in levies, and these guys have been pocketing it and grossly mismanging the complex. This is the final straw. Now we're in darkness and they are hiding away. Never ever deal with this company.
I was forced by the check in desk to purchase a R250 luggage check in - FOR MY HAND LUGGAGE. The lady at check in desk said that I have to pay and check it in or she will not print out my ticket. But on my return flight, I took it as hand luggage and there was no issues at all. Clearly this is poorly trained staff, unaware of the rules of travel, and trying to **** people into purchasing the additional R250 for luggage even though it was within the dimensions and weight for hand luggage. I would like a refund as I have been ****med in OR Tambo, and this did not happen on my return flight from Cape Town International. On top of it all, after paying extra for my hand luggage, the lady then re-assigned the seats that me and my wife booked in advance, so that we were no longer sitting next to each other. She then said there was a system issue that randomly assigns people's seats, even if they have paid or checked in with specific seats - again other lie - was referred to the Flysafair flight controller at OR Tambo who also gave some stories about system assigning seats at random due to issues - again why must the customer suffer due to these system issues. Based on this terrible experience, I would never recommend Flysafair to others, and will let others know exactly what has happened.
Absolutely dismal service. I have not received my deposit back for over 4 weeks since leaving the rental. Getting bogus excuses as to why that's the case.
I've had a student account that has been dormant for a few years as I have a different account with Standard Bank. Turned out they were still charging me on my other account up to the point where it started going into a negative balance. What's extremely shocking is that I have not received any kind of communication from the bank - no sms, email or even a letter in the mail to state what is going on. It just somehow went to a negative balance and then they further started adding more charges like overdraft and interest on overdraft, even though it was clearly evident that the account hasn't been used in years. It's extremely unethical that they continue to impose these charges without even calling to find out if the client is aware that this is happening on what appears to clearly be a dormant account. This is an absolute rip off and I will definitely be closing my other account with Standard Bank.
I would like to cancel my contract, for the past week the company was not able to give me the correct location of my vehicle. On the app it's delayed by over a day. Shocking and disappointing. This company is just stealing our money. Would not recommend at all. It seems unethical to charge for a tracking service that does not work correctly.
Terrible service by Vodacom. Been given the run around for weeks. After giving in my new contract phone for warranty repairs over a month ago, they eventually told me a week ago that it can't be repaired and I've been issued a "credit note" by the vodacom repairs with a reference but no amount. I then was told to go to the vodacom shop to use the reference to get a new device, which I did last Friday but at the store they said there's no amount reflecting on the note and I should come back on Monday. Its now Tuesday and there's still no amount and they have told me that it could only show by Friday. This is pathetic service as I am still paying an extremely high amount for my contract and I don't even have a device to use, and no load device was provided either.
Absolutely terrible service and mishandling of my device sent in for repairs. I've sent in my phone which had some kind of hardware issue, and was still under warranty. The device was fully inspected by the consultant at the vocacom outlet who confirmed that there wasn't a single mark or physical damage on the device. I then proceeded to take photos as well, and this was all done in view of the camera within the store. There after it was sent to 2 different repair centres for assessment. During that time there was clear mishandling of the device and after 2 weeks I was sent a photo and told that my warranty is void because of a huge mark under my phone, which was not there at the time of handing in (confirmed by consultant). My phone is still under contract for 14 more months and they said that I should either pay R3500 for repairs for damage that I haven't even caused or take the further broken phone back. As a vodacom customer for 8 years I'm absolutely shocked at the service I'm getting for sending in a defective device for the first time ever. I will definitely not recommend Vodacom and their repair service as they are extremely negligent and try to put the blame on the customer.
It's been the 2nd week. I still haven't received my upgrade, every day RAM says its dispatched, but they could not make contact. Nobody has been to my house or contacted me. But they do send me sms saying that my parcel is out for delivery. Extremely poor service. Nobody at the Vodacom call centre knows what's going on or how to help me. One person from vodacom suggested that I just ignore the delivery and eventually the upgrade will be cancelled. That's extremely poor service and I'm shocked that that's how vodacom deals with things considering I want to upgrade. Anyway I will take their advice and ignore it and cancel my contract all together.
I've been contacted on Monday saying I'm due for an upgrade. The person does it for me over the phone and says I should receive the phone by Thursday or Friday. I have been checking the RAM tracking on Friday and it said dispatched at 8am. Around 1pm the person who did my upgrade phoned me and asked if I got my device yet, I told her no, she assured me it will be there later that afternoon. Around 3pm I phoned the courier company (RAM) and after being on hold for 15 minutes, I was told that the driver was contacted and he will be there before 4:30pm. It's now Saturday and still nothing. The driver also put a false update that he attempted delivery but no contact. RAM has been doing this numerous times over the past few weeks and months! I've discovered this after seeing other hello peter reviews about them. I've also ended up losing a day of work as a result because I had to be home to sign for the package. Very disappointing, I no longer want to upgrade, but will rather cancel my contract with Vodacom once the current one is over.
Absolutely pathetic service from Telkom. Been a customer for over 10 years. Recently they replaced our uncapped 4Mbps adsl line with a Wireless LTE as they advised they were doing away with adsl lines. They also told us that the service will be exactly the same and we will be paying the same. That turned out to be a big lie. With the wireless lte we are throttled for most of the day after our usage for the month exceeds 50Gb. That's absolute nonsense and never happened when we were with the adsl. Now the speeds are so slow, much less than 1mbps and impossible to use.
