I was handed to these people by Lime loans. I settled the account with them over 2 weeks ago and they still havnt sorted this with Lime. On my Lime profile, it still shows I have outstanding debt. They don't bother to update anything let alone allocate the money to the account and my question is, where is the money that I paid!!! When I contacted them via email, they are telling me account is paid up and they closed file, how can u close file without paying over the money to Lime loans because Lime loans still has my debt as outstanding and overdue, and if it's paid up, where is my paid up letter. Lime loans is also not making an effort to get this money allocated. Dealing with both these companies is absolute torture
They handed me to LGR attorneys and told me to arrange payment with LGR. I paid LGR in full and it's been over 2 weeks and the money is not being allocated by both Lime and LGR. Dealing with both these companies are torture because they give you standard dumb responses without bothering to investigate the matter.
Absa handed me to Macrobert attorneys who offered me a discounted settlement in December of which I paid. On itc, the amount paid was deducted from the balance but the remaining balance has not been written off. I emailed absa who escalated my request because the attorney they handed me to, is of no help after the money was paid. I am initially a client of absa so they are supposed to step in but still nothing is being done about my query. I want the account closed and a proper bureau update to be done!
Discounted settlement was issued by them which I paid. They did a bureau update and only minused off the amount I paid and didn't write off the remaining balance on ITC and mark the account as closed, I call and send several emails and no1 can assist me with a paid up letter. They used to call 100 times a day when they wanted the money and now no response. I'm not receiving feedback from Absa either because they supposed to step in, and next complaint will be them.
I was happy to be offered a good settlement from them for my absa credit card which was paid on 14th Dec, but up till now, I have not received my paid up letter. When I call in, they keep saying it will be done at the end of the week and it's never done, and if I have to email them, they never respond and just ignore the mail but when it was time for collecting money, they would constantly call and email. Also, I think they did do a bureau update but didn't do it fully because my balance for the credit card on my credit report is still showing minus the R10 000+ I paid as a discounted settlement. Since it was a discounted settlement made within time frame, entire remaining balance was supposed to be written off after payment allocation but they only updated minus R10 000 and still reflects that I owe R14000. I want my paid up letter because this is affecting me when applying for anything because it's a large debt amount which was settled on 14th December!
When I logged into my boodle profile last month, it said I was pre-approved for R6000. I was looking for a loan to pay off a large discounted settlement that I was offered from another account so I did the application for R6000 on boodle. They declined me and then decided to pull up old records of a loan that I took in 2014 and paid it up in 2015, and on my profile, it says that loan has been handed over. Firstly it was never on my profile before applying for a loan last month and why would they even offer me a pre-approved loan if I was owing them, which clearly states that they are a bunch of rogues and ****s. I do not owe them anything and when I keep telling them this on their useless online chat where you have to wait days for a response, their continuous dumb response is that my account has been handed over. Despite me explaining several times that I paid up the account a long time ago and it was never on my profile when I app**** for a loan last month and even if they think I owe them, according to law, I did not receive any communication regarding this account so it would be prescribed and cannot be collected on.
They give bonuses only at the beginning, then they ban your account from receiving any further bonuses or taking part in any promotions. The blackjack table entry amount is just going higher and higher and makes it difficult for ordinary people to play. I am so disappointed that I can't even participate in the free live trivia because of the ban of promotions and bonuses on my account, neither can I even play on their tables anymore because the stake has become too high, they have taken out most of the lower stake tables so this casino is only for the rich.
Guys don't ever get a nedbank account! After using nedbank for 2 months, now all of a sudden my account says pending activation. Nedbank never bothered to inform me that they require fica documents. And my salary is due to go in on Tuesday and it is too late to change the banking details with my company, and according to nedbank call centre, my salary or any money trying to go in is going to be rejected. Even if I do go to the bank on Monday and provide fica documents, their verification process is two whole days, by then my salary release is going to be rejected. Unacceptable service! I regret switching banks!
