Excellent servive by West Rand Hearing Aid Centre
Visiting West Rand Hearing Aid Centre for the first time on 2026-02-27 as a none existing patient I was welcomed and helped with warm friendliness at the reception. The service requested by me was provided excellent in a very professional way and I was given the opportunity to communicate in my own language. This practice is highly recommended for hearing aid necessities.

Boedelbereddering.
Na die sterfte van my eggenote het dit ABSA TRUST as eksekuteur 1 jaar en nege maande geneem om die boedel af te handel. Dit was 'n eenvoudige binne gemeenskap van goedere testament wat alles na die lank lewende oorgedra moes word. Verskeie navrae/aanmanings is aan hulle gestuur betreffende die finalisering. In die lig van hierdie tydsverloop asook die astronomiese koste verbonde, het ek reeds my testament geskuif en sal ek beslis nie hul diens by ander persone aanbeveel nie.

Poor service delivery
As a receiver of Warfarin Therapy since 2012 my blood needs to be analyzed monthly to determine the INR of the blood and further dosages to be taken. The past couple of months the laboratory submitted the outcome only a day or two later which is very frustrating and sometimes I even need to phone them for the results as the results need te be discussed with my cardiologist.

Excellent service delivery.
On 17 September 2023 I made an inquiry via email about claim procedures for funeral cover with Metropolitan. On18 September I received feedback from Daleen Coetzee at Metropolitan explaining the process to be followed without any uncer*****ies. After following these procedures my claims were paid out in full two days later. Excellent service delivery and professional treatment like this is of high quality and can be recommended strongly everywhere.

Excellent service delivery by Brenda from Shield Chemicals in Benoni.
In need of replacing a broken spare part on my Shield orbital polisher I contacted Shield Chemicals in Benoni where I was referred to a lady by the name of Brenda. My experience with Brenda was excellent from the first email up to the collection of the part. The speedy way she was communicating with me as well as the professional way of making this part available to me was a very positive experience.

Quick And Friendly Service
I went there for the renewal of my driver's license on 25 January 2023 and was treated very friendly and professionally by staff members from the security member, the testing official as well as the cashier. Such a pleasant experience dealing with them.

Excellent help from Beeld Tot u Diens.
Since April 22 I was struggling to cancel a cell phone contract wrongfully registered by Vodacom in my name instead of registering an update on an existing contract. After contacting Carla Jansa van Vuuren, editor of Beeld Tot u Diens for help the contract was cancelled and the payments already been made by me, reversed back into my bank account within two weeks.

Online chaos
I bought and paid for an article online on 22-09-15 and went to fetch it on 22-09-16 at the Strubens valley branch where I had to wait for 55 minutes before I was told that they couldn't find the article and that the purchase will be reversed whilst their web page indicated that they have 6 of these items in stock. Despite traveling 22 kilometers to fetch the item I now also must wait up to 5 working days for my money to be reversed back into my account. Very unprofessional and will definitely not recommended to anyone.

Incompetent and poor service delivery by City Power
All street lights in Best street Sophiatown were not working since 9 February 2022 and after 22 fault loggings, only by me, the lights were fixed on 25 April 2022 except for the one light in front of 1 Best street and after a further 6 fault loggings it is still not working. This issue was also reported to the ward councilor without any success. Poor service delivery and absolutely no feed back cause much anger and frustration because it create a real safety and security risk

Excellent service by Fraud Department.
Three weeks ago I reported a fraud case at my branch in Melville for money been paid from my account to a company in the USA without my knowledge. I was brought in contact with the banks Fraud Department where it was investigated. A week later I was informed that the case was solved and the said payment was reversed into my account the following day. Excellent and professional service.
