Make sure to obtain a quote when using this business, I was taught a very expensive lesson.
Once again tried the ****tiest system of all, secure chat. Waited 20mins for a response, and when I did not respond in 2 mins, they close the chat. No wonder this bank got such a **** rating!!!
The secure chat platform is the worst performing service I've experienced. Worse than Department of Home affairs!!
Thaks to Gert and his team for friendly and excellent service. I drove a long way to get there, just to be assisted immediately, and drove back 3 hours later with the steering box done! It was fitted and work like new!! Will recommend you guys hands down any day!
These guys are special, not in a good way. My child enrolled with them, and twice received incorrect information, resulting in missed exams. Very un professional! I sent them an email, they didn't even bother to reply. Steer clear from them, seems like a fat ****!
For years I've been a loyal Discovery member and advocating them as the best medical aid, until I needed it. After an accident I could not work and had to go for a follow-up CT scan. This came with a co-paymenr which I could not afford as I am not working. I app**** for funding from PMB which was declined, but was informed that I should' i have been booked into hospital, they'd pay the entire bill. So after saving them R20k in hospital fees, they refused to pay R2.9k. Not sure who does this math, but it doesn't seem right.
After my previous review, I received a call from a manager at rain promising to resolve my issues. Despite this promise, I kept receiving sms' and emails pertaining to payment, AFTER cancelling in February 2024. Upon having a chat with their call centre today again, I learnt that NOTHING was done, and it will be cancelled today, again reminding me of payment... are these guys for real?? This is the WORST customer service and I will never refer them.
These guys got the WORST call centre. All went well untill I needed to cancel my service 6 months ago due to relocating where they have NO coverage. I canceled, it was confirmed by the call centre, but 6 months later I still get debited. I eede to cancel my card to stop these debits, and now I get daily sms'. Stay clear of them!!
If there were an option for no stars, that would've been applicable here. Upon applying for a rental unit, you must jump through hoops and supply loads of info, stopping short of a blood and stool sample. After renting the unit for almost 2years, we relocated and gave 60days notice, twice what the contract require. They retained the full rental and utilities deposit, and went further to demand a month's rent as we did not stay the full contract period. When we could not pay their demanded fee in 2 weeks, they turned to legal recovery. This is the WORST rental company to deal with.
Worst rental experience. The 1st car issued made a terrible noise sounding like wheelbearing malfunction. Leaving Cape Town international Airport at 18h00 with the 2nd vehicle on a 2 hour inland drive. When I switched on the headlights, it was so bad I had to stay other vehicles to see when the road is turning. Definitely will not recommend or use them again. Service by personnel was a pleasant experience though.
