On the 16th of February 2026 i was due for a new upgrade on my cell, so i did it, but i did it also in a way that make it cheaper for my self because I'm a pensioner and only received SASSA. The original amount was R439 per month and was deducted on the end of every month, the new amount is R319 and i asked them to move the debit order to the 6 of each month. The new contract started on the 20th of February 2026 . On the 6 of March there was a deduction of R809.11 made of my bank account by Cell C that mean they have comet ***** by deduct money of my account without authority. I gave Authority to the bank for the amount of R319 not R809.11, Cell C never contact me to tel me or ask me that they going to deduct that amount , i have only received today the 10th of March 2026 a statement that show what they have deduct after i phoned them to find out what is going on. What the guy on the phone said is they deduct the the old amount for February plus the new amount for March plus R40 for data and they going to bill me again the 6th of April for March, so i will pay 2 times for March...I just hope someone can sort this out for me , I'm 85 and don't have the power for this.
I personally think Post-net customer service is the worst in SA, i have send more then 15 mails no reply, phone them on 011 2072900 and 08607678638 more then 100 times in the last 10 days no answer , just to find out where is my parcel that was send on the 6th of January 2026 from Pretoria to Malelane......
Had such a great experience with Discovery insure. Nonqoba Ndawonde helped me in the morning and by the afternoon my claim was fully resolved. Nonqoba was so friendly & understanding, it was a pleasure to have her as my contact. Brilliant service - well done Discovery and well done Nonqoba. So impressed.
I had a lady with the name Dineo that helped me to sort out my claim, what an experience, she is so professional and helpful, if there was more of them it make life full of joy . Thanks for all your help and support Dineo
Why must we first putt a company on Hello Peter before a problem get resolved. I just like to say to Cell C , thanks a lot for the quick response and to sort out the problem . I just hope that the call centers will do better next time
Good day What a lot of idiots we have at cell c, when I use my contract phone it says that all numbers I phone does not exist, so I phone customer care line for help and after the 6 time I got through, I spoke to someone with an IQ of 6, she asks me a 15 security questions that I answer and to tell me that I’m not the account holder of my number …huh? so, does cell c telling me I’m a fraud? what more do they want then my id number and that I’m the person that pay the account, if they don’t want to help me just say it, don’t come with a lot of stories ……please contact me on my cell and sort the error out on my cell or stop my contract. And I will go to a network that will go out of there way to solves problems. NJ Theunissen
Good Day Like to start of to say that Capitec can definitely send their staff for better training on how to help their clients, and if they can’t have someone in store that have the authority to do so. On the 25th of March 2021 I have made 2 transactions via my cell phone Capitec banking app for some data and airtime of a total of R212, it was loaded on a new Vodacom simcard that I also have received on the 25th of March 2021. This simcard number is 064***5204, its use is for internet only, but by mistake have bought the data and airtime on a number that does not exist on the Vodacom network (064***5804) the 8 was supposed to be a 2, so immediately I phone Vodacom customer care on 082135 and explain to them what is be done, they told me that there is nothing they can do because Capitec is a 3rd party and that I must go in store to the Capitec bank and take the number with so that they can transfer the money back because the 064***5804 number is not active on there network. So, I went to the bank gave them the right and wrong number and she told me that they can’t do any thing about it, I must sort it out myself, HOW I ASK? She told me I must go to Vodacom. So, I did, and they just repeat to me what was told to me vis customer care that I have to sort it out with the bank………. So, this the way to sort it out, I like someone of Capitec Head Office to phone me that have the authority to do a transfer, I don’t want the money back I like them to transfer it to the correct number 064***5204.

Spoke to a lady at Capitec customer service to report a fraudulent transaction on my account via googleplay for the last year ,and every time they will tell me there is nothing they can do about it , i asked them to block all transactions of googleplay , but they keep telling me that they cant do it and it's not there problem (that is my problem and i must sort it out my self )....i have lost more then R30000 till now with no help from Capitec, on the other hand , it also happen on my FNB account and they did manege to look in to it and found that there is some fraudulent transactions happening on my account via google play , and till to day have reverse or repay me and have block all google play from my FNB accounts.... i personally think that some of the banks work with these fraudsters to scam money of innocent clients
