On the 16th/12/2025 I went to Soshanguve crossing to pay my Woolworths account and buy new sandals that I wanted to wear on Saturday the 20th/12/2025. After making a payment, I went to get a pair of sandals on the shelves and when I got to the till point, I was told that I won't be able to use my card so I must apply for a replacement, I said to the lady that I can be able to produce my ID but she refused to assist. This is the kind of service that we get from local malls, it's very irritating to get such service from a store that you trust whole heartedly, I'm so disappointed and I don't see a reason to have this store card anymore.
My 75 years old mom came across a guy by the name of Mack Peta at a shopping complex that was promoting Alton Legal Cover and while he was explaining the cover to my mom, he said to her that for the Head Office to see that he was working for the day, my mom must give him her details including her bank card so that he can swipe it on the machine that he had, my mom didn't know that the guy was processing payment only realizing after I sent her the money for groceries on the 26th of which R560.00 was deducted from her account, (R280.00 x2). The slip that my mom sent to me had the guy's cell numbers and when I called him, he said he made a mistake and I asked him to explain to me what kind of a mistake is that with someone else's money, he then dropped the phone on my ear and never answered my call again. This morning, I called Altron and they said to me that they unfortunately they won't be able to pay my mom her money back. This is the cruel world that we unfortunately live in, people have no morals.
I went to the shop on Sunday the 24/09/2023 wanted to report and replace my lost card. When I get to customer service, I found a lady by the name of Lesego Mashigo. When I tried to explain what I wanted to say, I didn’t even finish my sentence and she said ‘Bring your ID/driver’s license’, I didn’t take out the ID immediately because I wanted her to look at me as she was busy with her colleague on the phone. She said again: ‘Bring your ID’, I was so shocked about the service I’m getting from Customer service. She gave me a replacement card without hearing what I wanted to say. I even told her that I’m going to report her. Unfortunately I won’t tolerate such treatment from a person that has been positioned to work at customer service, I’m very disappointed about Dischem as a whole and worst part, Dischem Soshanguve Crossing management because obviously a person with a negative attitude, is very easy to be spotted but they have placed the lady on the position knowing very well that she cannot deal with clients.
On the 27th May 2023 I went to the fix soshanguve crossing to cancel my lay-bye because my first born son didn’t want clothes anymore. So I bought 2 t- shirt for my other son and I used a debit card to pay. After paying I asked the cashier to please cancel my lay-bye then she went to her manager Nthabiseng. When the cashier came back, she said to me that the manager said she must tell me that they are offline. What I know is that if they were indeed offline, the cashier would have told me from the onset that they were offline so they were lying. I hate these local malls because the staff always treat clients like idiots.
On the 1st April 2023 I went to SASOL Chillies Soshanguve block F to buy myself some orbits and when I got there, the orbits were R39.99 but when I get to the tills, they scanned R54.99 I told the cashier (Yvonne) that on the shelf the price is R39.99 and she went with me to the shelf, she took all orbits off from the shelf and she said to me that she won't give me the orbits on the price that I've seen because the manager was not on duty. That was very disappointing and she was even smiling, she didn't even care as she was saying that I have no choice but to take something else. I even repeated myself that I don't need something else, she continued to smile saying that unfortunately she won't give me orbits on the price that was on the shelf. I will never ever set my foot again in that stupid shop nor pour petrol, even when I'm stranded as their staff is not trained for customer services. What a disappointment.
I bought VANS sneakers for my son on the 12th/02/2022 and my son only wore those shoes once as they are black and white in colour, so he decided to wash them because they were dirty. The black colour completely went off, the colour is now greyish and I called the shop on the 14th/03/2022, the shop manager advised that we should bring back the pair and he even apologized about the shoes. Today the 15th/03/2022 when we got to the shop, he called the area manager by the name of Sipho Nhlapo and the guy refused to take back the pair of shoes. But how can one buy shoes for R650.00, wear them once and after the first wash the colours fades away? I'm now not sure if STREET FEVER is selling fakes or what but I'm just not happy with SOSHANGUVE CROSSING STREET FEVER, I'll never buy from that fong kong shop again.
