Nobody at 1st for women seems to be able or competent to assist with change of an address I emailed them twice end of Nov '24, no reply. I got a call from someone, wanting to offer me extra products on my car policy, but I told her I want nothing else, I just want to change an address The app doesn't allow you to do this either. Then last week Friday I asked for a call back and at 4h30 pm a lady phoned, apolilogizing after I told her the problem. She ensured me that she will follow up on this and will call me back after customer care assisted me. I was holding on for aabout 5min when the call just switched off. Nobody phoned me back as yet Poor service, I am going to cancel my insurance
In June 2024 I logged a call to attend to my faulty stove. As yet Defy has not sent out a technician to our farm near Bloemfontein. Two weeks ago, the call centre phoned me upon which I sent my location via wh. A refno was given and the call escalated to one of the technicians working in the area. Still nobody arranged with me for an appointment. Today I enquired again via wh, latest info is that it is now escalated to the branch and awaiting feedback. For a well established company like Defy, I think their after sales service is very bad
It has been 4 months since I phoned the service centre for a repair on my stove. As yet nobody has responded
They advertise on facebook products for R680, just to take off your bank R3548. I reported this to my bank's fraud department, which told me that if I did the purchase, they can't help me. I told them but the amount was way more than what it was suppose to be. I blocked my credit card for more than a month. I went on to the tracking of the parcel and as of today, we still haven't received the parcel. I enquired from "Jenny" who sent the initial confirmation email for the goods to hear where the parcel is. She sent back that they are delighted to "send our Gummies Refill and she will let me have the tracking of this again". My card was still locked, but I had to fill up my car during this week and unblocked my card. Today I noticed that another amount went off my bank, this time for even more than the previous time, and I haven't even ordered anything! The emails I sent to Herbsonline/ precious herbs is nowhere to find on either my phone or my laptop's email, which is VERY concerning to me! Again I blocked my card and reported it again to my bank.
Solar power installation done at our house. Very impressed by their service and prices. Work done to absolute perfection and after sales service so far very good. Will definetely recommend them.
Terrible ,disastrous, pathetic is the only way to describe Telkom mobile! It's been a month since my stepson's cellphone numner has been locked. He did the R200 outstanding payment, sent it to the relevant department, etc After numerous calls from his father's phone, his sisters as well as sending emails, still nobody understands the problem that his phone is blocked and thet say it's suspended. The more we tell the call centre operator that he cam't make or receive calls, the more they want to speak to him. When giving them an altenative number, they insist on speaking to my stepson. As we are living 30km apart, it's impossible to be with him when Telkom decide they want to phone him. I have proof of 3 reference numbers I got only this week alone. Nobody is getting back to us. In the mean time if he has an emergency, he won't be able to phone. Wonder what Telkom will be saying if his life is in danger or worse as he is staying on a farm, far from town.
We purchased an adjustable bed from Adjust4Sleep, as advertised on TV, in July this year. The agent previously came to demonstrate the bed and what functions there are. It was a single bed with a standard mattress, which at the time was feeling fine. As my husband and I both suffer from neck, back and joint pains, we were told that this bed could assist with that. We received our bed on the 21st of July and on the 25th we informed the agent, Christo, that we are not satisfied. He said he will contact his boss who would phone us. After about a week the manager in Cape Town phoned us, Steven, if I recall correctly telling us that we had to adjust the bottom slats to adjust the softness of the bed, which we did. Still it was the same. My husband phoned Christo several times, getting no answer or reply to whatsapps. It's about 2 months now and we haven't heard back from him. We feel that we paid a pretty penny for this bed and were very excited when it arrived here. The fact that they don't have a return policy or cool-off period after you receive the goods, are unacceptable to us. How can a company selling goods, not have a return policy at all, only on the offer to purchase there is a cool-off period.
This company manufactures water troughs for cattle. # WIN. They are situated in Fauresmith, Free State, South Africa. They make use of conveyer belt materials. Their workmanship is of very high quality and delivery was done promptly and professionally. Their guarantee is also very good.
This lady has immediately responded to our interest in a Ridgeback puppy where we got her details on the internet from. She attached pictures of the puppies on her email with a very long and colourful story of how the dogs are house trained, looking for a loving and caring home. She also mentioned that if we are breeders, we must disclose this or else she will not be selling the dog to us. To her the wellbeing of the dogs, attention, walking with them, having kids or not, etc are the most important. Also she noted that they are Christians, etc and that they are honest people. Furthermore, she said that the puppy will be flown to Bloemfontein togethere with another puppy, of which the name wasn't even on the list of "puppies for sale" and then the air transfer company will deliver the dog to our doorstep on a farm, 110km from Bloemfontein, at 17h30. The total cost for the puppy is R3500 and R500 for the delivery. A 50% deposit is payable before delivery and the rest upon delivery. It all just sounded too good to be true.. As I previously encountered scammers, I told my husband that I'm going to rather google for a guest house in the town, Kakamas in the Northern Cape, and try and find out if the people know this Catherine, seeing it's a small close knit community. The owner of the guesthouse said he doesn't know somebody with this name at all and also told me that we are about the 4th people he came across where they were scammed by a person selling puppies and when they got there, the address didn't exist. One guy even booked a room at his guesthouse, travelling from far to fetch the puppy the next day, and couldn't find the address given to him. I then phoned the telno provided and a lady answered, she talked with an Eastern accent and there was a loud ecoiing sound over the phone, like a repeat of my voice at the other side. I told asked her if the puppy would really be delivered the next day to our doorstep and she confirmed it again. By asking her but what time will it be as it gets dark earlier nowadays, she said the plane is leaving already in Upington at 14h00 the afternoon and will definetly be in Bloemfontein during daylight, delivering the puppy at 17h30 on our farm. I said okay let's just think about it. I then sent her an email saying we will not be taking the puppy anymore due to previous experience with scammers, we don't feel comfortable with the whole thing. She then asked if she did something wrong, then the next mails came through one after the other of how honest they are doing business, etc. I told her, okay, only way we will do the deal is by only paying the full amount upon delivery as the same honesty I expect from her, she must then expect from me. She then said we are welcome to pick up the dog at the Bloemfontein airport if that will make us more at ease, but that would have costed us another tank of fuel. She said she just wanted to make the "transition" a smooth process by delivering it to our doorstep.
Hi Please let me know if the abovementioned business is ligitimate.
