I bought a return ticket to Durban, and only received confirmation for my return flight. Trying to speak to a human at the call centre is impossible, then I sent an email, and got a response to send a WhatsApp, again no human interaction, only to find, I still don't get a response on the WhatsApp, getting blue ticked by an airline!! Imagine that. Client service is appalling... our airspace needs more competition...disgusted!
I recently bought a new Ford Ranger from this outlet, the excellent service I received from the salesman Johan Homan was world class. He kept me updated every step of the way through the entire buying process. I would highly recommend dealing with Johan and the people at this outlet.
I have just received a call from one of their agents, and after I told them I wasn't interested in investing, I was told to "**** off". To say I am disgusted is an under statement.
How do you give a zero. I have just discovered there was a Telkom Mobile account fraudulently opened in my name. No payment made, obviously, and has affected my credit record negatively, There isn't a number to call, and when I finally called their Fraud line, I was told to call 10210 . I explained that number doesn't take me to someone I can talk to, the incredibly bright sounding operator, then gave me an 0800 number which takes me straight back to 10210. Telkom, no wonder you are a failing business, how do open an account without first checking whether the application is valid or not, then report for missed p[payments, with absolutely no details??? This is easily traceable back to who ever in Telkom approved this account, and they should be cranially charged.
I went to buy an advertised Gym set on Sunday 10th August, only to find that the store was out of stock, and this was the last day of the special. A gentleman by the name of Innocent, assisted me, took my details and phoned me the very next day to say the stock had arrived. He even arranged that I paid the special price, and not the off promotion pricing. Now if all MAKRO staff are as efficient, professional, helpful and friendly as Innocent is, their business would certainly thrive.
This is just a warning, never ever buy anything from House and Home and especially not Defy. I've had a dishwasher from February that I cannot use, amongst other issues, debit orders etc that they failed to set up, it's been an absolute nightmare... Their after sales service, more like complete lack of service is disgusting... NEVER EVER AGAIN. Believe me when I say, there is so much more that happened, or didn't happen, like getting billed for a repair that didn't take place, even getting a bill for a repair on a brand new machine is shocking...UPDATE: Just been told that Defy will not exchange the dish washing machine, House and Home who very quickly took my money for this item, won't do anything about this, the branch manager at East Rand Mall doesn't care to call me themselves, please people, use your buying power elsewhere..
