i have shared all my dissatisfaction since 08/2025, and i am still awaiting a refund that is related to the poor service, customers be aware of the poor service delivery given by House and Home ...in my opinion other retailers are more of an option to save yourself from frustration to shop at HOUSE AND HOME,they are not transparent....
I have purchased a unit in 08/2025 from House and Home Gateway, and awaited stock arrival , in 09/2025 i cancelled and awaited response which they failed to contact me, i contacted them in Decemeber as i needed to purchase the units else where on a special for R3999 then House and Home advertised the same unit for R4999.99 but i couldn't purchase it online as the website was not allowing me to, i sent an email for assistance and got no joy , then they have in a week increased the price to R5499 and in another week for R5999 and insists that i purchase it for R5999........And Lee Ann from the online calls me and tells me that she cannot assist me as the issue was in August instead of reading all my mails,their pathetic service started in August. HOUSE AND HOME IS THE WORST FURNITURE RETAIL COMPANY WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY
I have made a purchase in 08/2025 and paid for an item, Which they had no stock of, I was awaiting my refund ever since, only to find out in December my money was not allocated but i had been liasing with a sales consultant Vanessa, And now i have to call them every day for a refund as i need another unit from else where and the company is closing, The manager Sachin promised to give my refund on the 16/12 and now i am told by Claudette that they awaiting to get cash, This is so unprofessional and pathetic customer service, They had been earniing interest on my funds since 08/2025.
Very poor client service and incompetency within the banking entity
I have not received any dividends, My opinion that all shareholders that share the same sentiments of dissatisfaction should get Wendy Knowler or Shahan Ramkissoon intervention.
I have been trying to call Motive Capital, Which is being responded by a voice message, If they are not going to pay any dividends they should refund us the full amount with interest since 2017
DURING APRIL I DID AN UPGRADE ONLY TO FIND OUT IN MAY THAT THE PARCEL WAS SENT BUT WENT BACK,I QUESTIONED ON THE FACT THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE AND CALLS FROM THE COURIER COMPANY,I WAS TOLD THAT THE NUMBER THEY HAD WAS INCORRECT I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I AM A VODACOM SUBSCRIBER AND WHEN YOU ANSWER THE CALLS THEY ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE FROM THE NUMBER YOU CALLING,THE LADY SAID I MUST WAIT FOR THE PHONE TO GO BACK THEN ONLY CAN SHE DO ANOTHER,SO WHILST IN THE INTERIM I WAITED AND FOLLOWED UP ON MY OWN AND DID THE NEW CONTRACT,THEN THEY RAN A SPECIAL ON THE HUAWEI P30 2XR579,SO WHEN THE PHONE CAME I TOOK IT TO VODACOM AND TOLD THE GUY THAT I WANTED THE SPECIAL,HE TOLD ME THAT I MUST PHONE VODACOM AND THEY CANNOT ACCEPT IT AT THE BRACH,SO I ASKED HIM DO YOU STILL HAVE THE SPECIAL OF THE 2 X HUWAEI HE SAID YES,SO I CALLED VODACOM AND THEY PICKED THE PHONE,WHEN I WENT BACK TO VODACOM I ASKED THE LADY IF SHE HAS THE SPECIAL ON THE 2 X HUWAEI SHE TOLD ME IT IS OVER,I WAS VERY UPSET AND TOLD HER THAT I WAS THERE BEGINNING OF 06/2020 HOW CAN THE SPECIAL BE OVER,THEN SHE DID AN UPGRADE ON A P40 WHEN SHE PRINTED THE DOCUMENTS SHE WANTED ME TO SIGN THE CONTACT WAS NOW R360,I TOLD HER I SAW IT ADVERTISED R329 WHATS THE ISSUE,SHE TOLD ME THAT THE PRICES ARE DIFFERENT, I TOLD HER THAT I DONT WANT THE PHONE SHE TOLD ME THAT I CANNOT CANCEL IT AS SHE ALREADY OPENED THE PHONE,I AM TRYING SINCE THEN TO GET HELP AND SEEMS TO BE GOING IN DEAF EARS,VODACOM IS THE MOST PATHETIC CUSTOMER SEVICES PROVIDER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH I REGRET CLOSING MY MTN CONTRACT AND CHANGING TO VODACOM.
