I accepted a Telkom Mobile contract more than 2 years ago. In June this year I contacted Telkom Mobile to cancel my contract, as it was past the mandatory 24 months. Cell.no. 081 506 3853. THE POOREST, WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! After multiple e-mails and phone calls, I was told to make a final payment of R140 and to send proof of payment thereof, after which they confirmed that the payment reflected on their side and that the matter is now resolved and my Contract terminated and closed. AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS WEEK I RECEIVED AN SMS FROM ATTORNEYS ABOUT MY TELKOM ACCOUNT HANDED OVER FOR DEBT COLLECTION. THEY DESTROYED MY PERFECT CREDIT RECORD, OF WHICH I AM VERY PROUD, AND MY GOOD NAME WENT DOWN THE DRAIN. IS THIS THE TYPE OF SERVICE THEY RENDER TO ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS? WILL I EVER DO BUSINESS WITH TELKOM EVER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE ??? DEFINITELY NOT !!!!! THEY HAVE THE MOST INCOMPETENT STAFF I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS AND I WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER, EVER ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH TEL
If you want to buy quality food and groceries, Woolies is where you need to go. The staff is more than just friendly and in good spirits, they actually talk and laugh while you're paying for your purchases at the till points. Not even ONE of the Woolies shops near me where I usually go for food had to be closed down, due to a staff member having the Covid virus. Their standards of disinfecting counters and surfaces are the highest I've seen so far. Go to Checkers or Pick 'n Pay if you want poor service, moody staff or less than quality food. They don't even look up while you are standing at the till and they don't even greet you or say goodbye when you walk away. Not even one friendly face at the counter while you help pay their salaries, due to your purchases.
I entered into a contract for a Telkom cell phone and more than two years have passed since then. Because of the salary cuts, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I need to minimize my expenses and contacted Telkom TWICE already to have this done. NO confirmation has been received yet that they will comply with my application to end this contract, but according to Telkom the issue has been resolved. How many times must a person contact these people to help with an issue like this. Poor service and no wonder that they are losing business and customers.
THIS MORNING I WENT THROUGH MY BANK ACCOUNT AND FOUND 3 UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDERS THAT I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR OR GAVE PERMISSION FOR: TECH TRACE - R50 SO MUSIC - R54 SOS SQUAD - R65 I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THESE PEOPLE GET OUR BANKING DETAILS FROM OR WHO GAVE THEM PERMISSION FOR THESE DEBIT ORDERS. THIS IS FRAUD! ALL OF US ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY BECAUSE OF THE COVID VIRUS AND SALARY CUTS. WHILE TRYING TO LIMIT MY EXPENSES, UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDERS ARE DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT AND THIS WILL HAVE TO STOP. OTHER PEOPLE ARE STRUGGLING WITH THE SAME DEBIT ORDERS FOR WHICH THEY DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE.
