Urgent: Lack of Response and Unresolved Communication To whom it may concern I am writing to formally express my concern and frustration regarding the lack of response to my previous communications. Over the past several days, I have made multiple phone calls and sent several emails, yet to date I have not received any response or feedback. This level of non-communication is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Earlier today, I remained on hold for several minutes, only for the line to be disconnected without any assistance. I am writing in relation to the incident that occurred at your Woolworths store on 20 December, during which my son slipped and fell in-store. Following the incident, I lodged a formal complaint regarding the hazardous conditions in the store and the resulting injury to my son. At the time, he was visibly distressed and in significant pain. This was witnessed by staff, including the cashier present, who observed his condition immediately following the fall. In the days and weeks that followed, my son experienced ongoing pain, particularly in his knees, which prevented him from participating in normal activities throughout the festive period. As requested by Woolworths, I kept the store informed of his condition. An X-ray later confirmed that the impact of the fall triggered an underlying issue, and he has since been referred to an orthopaedic surgeon for further assessment. I note that Woolworths initially acknowledged the incident, both verbally and in writing, and refunded the goods purchased on the day. I was also asked to continue providing updates regarding my son’s injury, which I have done in good faith. I am therefore extremely distressed and disappointed by your most recent communication, in which I was asked to “retell” the incident despite being advised that CCTV footage exists. The implication that my son has been dishonest about his fall is both offensive and unacceptable. This directly contradicts your earlier acknowledgements that the fall did occur. Any suggestion or implication that my son fabricated this incident is entirely unfounded and has caused significant emotional distress to him and our family. The medical evidence clearly supports that he sustained a genuine injury as a result of the fall. I am particularly concerned by the conduct of Gafsa Schroeder, acting on behalf of Woolworths, in making and implying allegations that my son has been dishonest and that my grievances are false. These assertions are inaccurate, damaging, and must be formally withdrawn.
Dear Management, I am writing to formally complain about an unacceptable experience at your store that reflects a serious breakdown in customer service, safety standards, and management accountability. Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, both in person and over the phone. When I called the store on Sunday after my visit, I was placed on hold and then told I could not be heard, despite the background being filled with loud, vulgar screaming. The staff member’s attempt to quiet the situation was ignored. I later spoke to the manager, who failed to return my requested callback at 15:45 on Monday, demonstrating a lack of concern for resolving this matter. More alarmingly, a refrigerator was leaking water on the shop floor. Despite this being reported, no clean-up was done and no wet floor signage was placed. As a result, my son slipped and injured his knee, which is still painful. This negligence posed a serious safety risk and is completely unacceptable. I was also shouted at for allegedly not queuing at till 10, despite there being no signage or indication of where customers should queue, and was wrongly accused of not following procedure. The quality of the products purchased was equally concerning. The rolls bought (R28.99 per half dozen, two packs) were stale and are still in my possession. The chicken was pink and undercooked in places, raising serious food safety concerns. In addition, items advertised in store were not available on the shelves. I spent just over R1,000 during this visit. While this may be insignificant to your business, it is a considerable expense to me, and the experience I received was entirely unacceptable. Your company’s message, “How can we make a difference?”, does not align with the service and disregard I experienced. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and request a response outlining: How this incident will be addressed, What corrective action will be taken at store level, and Appropriate compensation or a refund for the products and experience described. I contact the call center to speak to a supervisor manager , I was advised to forward and email with a turnaround time of 3 business days, a call center of this entity's statue to not have any Superior available is *********, un professional. To be harassed and then insinuating *****ulent activity, is defamation of character. Also The manager of the store not wanting to disclose her full name and surname after interrogating me about my personal information and violating my rights , popia act. I had a flat tyre, Saturday , I am covered with Budget insurance _ Comprehensive cover which entails break down assist. This happened along the R44 Stellenbosch. My son and daughter was accompanying me. I contact my insurance reassuring them to not panic as we felt quite unsafe. I contact budge only to be told that I do not have road assist and I need to pay cash upfront for assistance to be towed. They told me they couldn't access my policy to confirm that I did have this benefit , however upon joining and reason for joining insurance is to have tow and emergency assist benefit. I spent 30 minutes on the line lodging my complaint I then was transferred to someone who told me they will provide a email address for my complaint, in other words this is just another complaint, irrelevant. We may be out of danger now but , things could have been worse. There is no reassurance from Budget insurance, its all about the money, and its in the past so why bother to take me and my complaint seriously.

I have never in my life came across individuals who lacks this amount of self respect. Completely unprofessional, all entites affiliated and who is represented by this entity are creating a downfall. Management neither has any soft skills to asist. I am disgusted and this is all for a measly R400, which the medical did not pay. Absolutely disguisting. And of course hiding behinf the director having a law degree. , this mean nothing if the integrity of of your entity is management and overseen by narcistic abusive , disrepectful employees. Also when requested for all correspondece or should i say abuse via telephone be forward im writing they instead forward and email to cover the incompetence and abuse from the supivisor

I called on my partners behalf and was verbal abused by Charmain Power, accused of committing ***** and violating my partners POPIA. How on earth do you this. Who on earth would call and commit ***** when security measures ar set in place. Charmain was completed unprofessional and disrespectful and abusive, does not display leadership skills as a team leader and also lack communication skills. Clearly one can distinguish the voice between male and feel and also, whilst communication with her manager she abruptly interrupted and spoke to not only over me but her Manager. Also , I was called several name accept mine ! I am accused of calling and introducing myself as my partner a male!! But i was called by another name after i introducing myself on more than one occasion. after numerous emails they have not acknowledged the simple requested to update a mobile number in order to retrieve a refund. after liaising with another person they forward a verification which was successful by the account holder , so how the hell is this *****!!! Only now for him to contact payflex and the number updated. !!! Charmaine has only displayed ********* behaviour personally and professionally. I want a apology in writing.
find it ridiculous that I am randomly called and told that my order will be delivered tomorrow and that’s it. No apologies for the inconvenience of taking up my entire Sunday afternoon after you decide to deliver in. Personal time text in the morning only for me to cancel my plans and wait for a. NO ARRIVAL‼️then call just by the way to tell get over it it will be delivered tomorrow. I lodged t h is complaint ‼️in the afternoon and last night ‼️no reply accept and I must accept this ‼️this is poor service and incompetence. When calling order number was given and call then my call cut!! Didi a online compain ignored!
