We app**** for a German Visa through the TLS Contact In Durban for Germany. The staff are totally unprofessional, discussing their private affairs in front of clients, they scrutinise your documents like they are the ones that make the decisions, they have and take up your time, without providing you the necessary accurate information of whats to be submitted. They made us make applications for staying a a property, and then change them. When we finally submitted our documentation, we understood that the embassy didnt receive everything, our application was returned, with a visa refusal. Ive travled to more than 40 countries and never had an issue with a visa. The attitude of staff at TLS contact Germany / Belgium is pathetic. They have an entitlement attitude and it feels like an interrogation room. I missed an important business meeting with a large multinational company which would have been worth millions in revenue to both countries, but how do you explain this to someone who just works a 9 to 5, dreading the job they have thinking that everybody that walks through the door must meet an interrogation and probably should not be in a position to be granted a visa. We also have no clue what documentation is submitted to the embassy, Because there is an intermediary between us and the embassy. We are unaware if the embassy fully received our visa application complete or not.
Discovery is an unethical company to deal with. Period. Every reason not to pay out your claim. They charged me a 20% excess on my motor vehicle which was in excess of 150k for something is said, after an accident. Yet I was fully comprehensively insured. Never will use them, again. Neither will I recommend them, and I will caution everyone I know about getting discovery insure.
I signed up for a 1 month subscription. They billed me for two subs and 3 months. R1107.00 I called and asked them to cancel my subscription, immediately. I dont mind paying the pro rata. Their reply was I can only cancel on the 20th of Jan. Which means I must pay for services I dont want and won't use. This is the height of unethical business practices. They also received 3 x times the amount for billing me for 3 months. If this is not theft at a corporate level then what is?
Deceptive Company. Proof of Deception when it comes to purchasing tickets online. Refunds never happen, despite contacting them. They indicate the fare to be for example R1262.00 return JHB DBN, however when you think this is the price, you are emailed an invoice amounting to R2371.00 and additional R1150 is changed onto your account. Their e ticket, shows 1262.00 but then deceptively a base fare is added of 1150.00 onto the final price you think you paying. Since competitor carriers are in the region of 1200 - 1300 for a return fare you would think that British Airways is also at this pricing, however it is only after you press pay, you are charged an incorrect amount, and the e ticket then matches the incorrect amount so you cannot refute the cost later with the bank or the airline. VERY DECEPTIVE, WILL NEVER FLY BA AGAIN. WILL ALSO INFORM OTHERS OF THIS.
