Ordered 50 wings and 5 cones. From Hungry Lion Somerset West Mall. What really bugs me is that their ice cream machine never works. Not on weekdays or weekends. If you arrive at the store during the week at 19:00 their machine is dead. The ice cream Machine just exploded on me and the manager did not even apologize to the customers who got streamed with ice cream. The manager said that she did apologize, really cause nobody heard her . Service is just really bad. I regret trying to make a negative experience positive. So their ice cream machine, printer and... is not working at this very moment. So it's 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes but nothing gets rebooted. After an hour I received my ice cream s and 50 wings. Never again point.
I bought a 3 in 1 travel system form Muhelos who was at the Dischem Baby expo at Grand West, Cape Town in August 2019 for babys arrival in 2020 . I tried to contact Dean Hall about a repair for the prams wheel. He responded and said he would contact the supplier. Dean Hall was kind and seemed helpful but then stopped replying to me. I have send them messages from their website and to his phone. Dischem is my go to shop for baby products and trusted that this company was legit because it was at the expo which we attended yearly with friends and now it was my turn. My turn to get my daughter the best but it is just the opposite . It was a waste of money because I need to buy a new travel system instead of just doing a repair. I would think that Dischem would have done their homework a little better when appointing business to sell under their name.

Today I went to woolworths in Somerset Mall. I took 4 lotions to the till end they scanned R0.00. Then I went to get more of the product because why not. The cashier called the manager and I was refused the products and was only given the four. I mean the products were on the shelf and what are they going to do with it? If you are not selling the products take it off the shelves. Then the manager started scanning all products on the original prices which were 3 times more than what stood on the shelf for all the sale products I had. I told him that I know the prices of the products and then just decided to leave the store with out my groceries.
We bought a tumble dryer from Makro online, it got delivered 26th June. On the same day we emailed Markro telling them that the tumble dryer that was delivered with a broken door. We received a reply that it would be ex-changed. Two weeks later nothing has happened and they said they would pay attention to the matter and inform Makro in Ottery, Cape Town . Three weeks after that nothing has happened, but tumble dryer has not been collected. We then bought a tumble dryer at a different place and requested a refund from Makro,yet the tumble dryer has not been collected. I make contact with Makro once a week via phone calls and email, where you are on hold for long periods of time if the phone gets answered . When you speak to someone you need to explain your whole situation over and over again which gets you no where because everyone marks the situation as important but there has been no progress. I guess I paid for a broken item so long they got paid they are happy. Their next pitch will maybe be that its 3 months later and they can not refund me. I will lose my mind because I have contacted them so many times, speaking to team leaders but where is management? Calling and emailing does not work I am so frustrated that I just want that tumble dryer out of my sight. Thought online shopping would be a good idea but thank you Markro for discouraging me.
