Unprovoked, 1-grid disconnected our email. They don't even follow up on a call logged to see if the issue was resolved.
We missed a flight and had to drive to Durban instead. Sheldon checked on us and helped us to get our rental car upon arrival. He was really kind.
Network is abysmal. Maybe the bill should be linked to actual download/ upload speeds. We’d save a lot of money for sure.
The device is no longer performing and Rain won’t send a Technician out. Calls 21241918, and 21361122. I also notice from Hellopeter customer reviews that Rain uses agents in South Africa to sign you up but uses agents in India to hear your complaints- that way you’ll phone many times for your issue to be resolved.
I ordered an additional battery, duly paid the deposit and proceeded to follow up on when it would be installed. All my follow ups have been ignored, with no response provided. Now I am being billed for the battery - money is being deducted via debit order for an additional battery that was never delivered.
Service started well and is deteriorating with every month that passes. Now the Rain tower is down and not back online for days.
We got a new device installed (receiver, mounted outside) and it worked well for one week. Since then we have to reset everyday, sometimes three times in one day, freezing in the cold and even getting wet when it’s raining.
The Rain tower is faulty for two days now and not being resolved. We call and wait for almost 20 minutes, for someone at Rain to eventually feel like answering the phone - all the while we are paying the cost of holding for that long.
The touchdown guys are bullying us. They want full monthly levies in full right now for a unit that we’re scheduled to use in December for us to be able to use a different unit now in April. This despite us paying monthly for levies and being prepared to pay for the April unit now. They know that we cannot sell the fractional titles (nobody wants them on the market) and they’ll just save on the cost of servicing the unit while we’ll pay the full levy anyway by year end. Shrewd and leaves a sour taste in customers mouth.
Internet connection keeps dropping off. My meetings are interrupted constantly. It’s been a week now. Tech help says Rain know about it. Why is the problem not being resolved then?
