Trade-in is a scam
I hoped to purchase a new iPhone and access the trade-in service at the eastgate store, however after waiting over 5 hours in the cue over two days; I was met with unfriendly service and staff with very bad attitudes, the online trade-in estimated the phones value at 2.5 however the staff were only willing to give me 400 without checking any criteria . I could not get close to the purchase stage as the encounter with two staff members was so unpleasant that I decided to leave instead. the advertised trade-in feature is a scam, unfortunately better to sell an old iPhone elsewhere.

Pricing ambiguity and unethical trading
Went to Matrix to buy a laptop charger and battery before lockdown and then went back as soon as bans were lifted and the price the guy gave me was more than double. Purchasing is difficult to navigate in the stores because there are no prices on display. Ordered off of Takealot instead.

Satisfied with fibre
Internet service is very fast and efficient, service is always speedy and any connectivity problems are resolved within 3 hours - Sean is always very helpful. The one downside is that the fibre is rather pricey, but sometimes in SA a slight jump in price can make all the difference service wise.

Friendly staff, very helpful with order error
I had recently had a bad experience with being over-charged when ordering delivered pizzas, however; the staff were more than willing to fix the error and later on sent me a largely discounted pizza with generous toppings and six free pasteis de nata. The server that helped me was Thandi and I am very thankful for her friendly and efficient service and her eagerness to maintain good relations. Keep up the good service, going the extra mile is so appreciated!

Do Not Support Rain
Extremely disappointed with rain service. I ordered the unlimited sim and was hoping to use it during covid for online schooling. I was billed immediately, and higher than the stated price, I then never received my product but was billed again. Several back and forth with customer care email however, this was unsuccessful. There is no way to effectively contact them and would recommend looking elsewhere for an internet provider.

service is always quick, efficient and friendly. Amazing prices with high quality food. Sushi is always fresh and clean. Highly recommend going on a Monday or Tuesday as it is 50% off.
