Extremely terrible service! I wouldn’t recommend this company even to my worst enemy. Had a solar backup system installed by these guys. Cost an arm and a leg. The guy who did the installation did such aterrible job that our house almost caught fire! Then we had a problem with the Sunsynk inverter that crashed and was taken for repairs. For a while we were on Eskom supply until a loan inverter was organized. After that 2 batteries seized, one after the other. They were gone for over 5 months each. No loan batteries, no communication or updates from GridFreedom. When they were brought back they still have a problem! No one at GridFreedom is addressing the issue. Even the CEO and manager don’t answer their phones. Essentially we have been running on 2 batteries for the whole year. As a result, we have had no respite from loadshedding, our electricity bill has not dropped and we are left with a system that has had no appreciable return on investment. From speaking to other solar companies, we gather that the batteries GridFreedom has used (Shoto) are problematic and are not being used by a lot of the companies. So, why is GridFreedom using inferior products? And why are they not assisting their client?
Worst service experience ever. Wanted to switch from Afrihost to RSAWeb because of the fantastic offer via Sanlam Reality. My line has been released as of 01/01/2023, but I’m still not connected to the RSAWeb network. Been calling daily (calls get answered after more than 30min ringing!!), they’ll say the matter is being escalated and someone will call me back. No such luck 9 days down the line. I am cut off from the world, can’t do my work and RSAWeb sees no problem with this. I think it’s best to cancel and go back to Afrihost.
Had a motor vehicle accident in June 2021. Car slipped and lost control, hitting kerb and wooden railings. There was extensive damage to the front of the car. It was taken to SMG Car Repairers and an assessor came a few days later. Repairs were authorised, but there were delays with receiving some of the parts from the supplier. Since it's been almost 3 months without my car, I decided to go to SMG to check on my car. I immediately noticed a crack on the windscreen on the driver's side, a crack on the glass roof in line with the crack on the windscreen, a dent and scratches on the passenger window. These are obviously as a result of flying debris during the accident. when I enquired why they were not attended to, I was told they would notify the assessor. No feedback has been forthcoming until I called SMG today. Only to be told that the assessor came and said he will not authorise the repairs as the don't fit the description of the accident! Really now!!! What nonsense is this?? Are they not hiding the fact that they didn't fully inspect the vehicle? These defects are easy to spot if one does a full car check! So now I'm being made liable for someone else's sloppy work?? Was I really expected to notice every kind of damage to my car at the scene of the accident?? This is daylight robbery!! These 2 companies need to be exposed for this!!
Bought an Apple Watch Series 6 cellular on Tuesday 13/10/2020. Went to Vodacom Shop @ Pavillion to activate. The next day ( Wed 14/10/2020) my iPhone XSMax lost network around 14h00. Thought it was because I was in theatre. When I was done, tried resetting several times, even took SIM out, but no effect. Next day (Thursday 15/10/2020) went to Vodacom Shop @ Pavillion 9am. They tested SIM on other phones, and decided I should do SIM swap. 4 hours later, I still had no connectivity. Went back, call was logged and was promised swift resolution. By close of business I was still offline. Now (Friday 16/10/2020 @ 12h00) I’m still offline. No one can give an explanation why I’m disconnected. I pay so much for my Red contract, yet I receive ****oy servive. I have been off-grid for a third day now. As an anaesthetist I rely on my ohone for accessibility. I have lost 3 days of work. How is Vodacom gonba compensate me for this ***** up? Might be time to move over to MTN??
Ordered 3 bottles of fine red wine from Westville Checkers Liquors via Mr D on 26/08/2020. I was at work when they delivered. Got home looking forward to a glass of a fine red after work...Lord behold, they brought wrong wines (cheap stuff!!). Sent a complaint on the app, and got an e-mail to send photos of delivered wine. Thursday 27th I sent another complaint. Similar e-mail sent. I responded accordingly. It’s now Saturday and I have visitors. Should I drink this cheap wine??
Put in a claim for an iPhone 7 Plus 256Gb. The phone just stopped working and wouldn’t charge. Took it to the iStore, and they booked it in for an assessment. The report said that the phone has no power and is not repairable. I was given a quotation for an equivalent replacement phone. Submitted everything to Echelon. Now they want some strange guy to assess the phone! Isn’t iStore the official supplier & repairer of all things Apple? Echelon is wasting time and, as usual, are not willing to honour the claim.
