Booked two identical rooms at same price for family. One room was acceptable, the other was not, tucked away down the bottom of an alleyway. Not the same size or standard or setting as the other, despite paying the same price. Framesby was unable to move the occupants closer to the other part of the family and claimed that as it was booked thru Lekkeslaap, they are just allocated leftover rooms or something to that effect. And their other guests had booked directly and booked specific rooms?! Further, the swimming pool, which looks all clean and sparkly in the pictures was actually green and dirty! Children could not use it to swim at all! Plus at least one of the rooms has had cold water in the shower for two days. No hot water on a four-day visit? No, not happy with Framesby guesthouse at all. Very disappointed!
Lekkeslaap is NOT lekker! Will NEVER use them again. Very disappointed. Booked accommodation for family with small children in two separate rooms at an establishment in Port Elizabeth. Both rooms were the same so-called 'lux en suite 2-3 sleeper' at the same price. Yet on arrival, one room was acceptable and more or less as expected. The other one was NOT the same and not up to standard, far away from the other and at the very back of a very large double property down the bottom of an alleyway, almost like an overflow or 'throwaway room'. That part of the family, an elderly couple who had to walk 'miles' from the parking are to the room were so unhappy they did not even want to check in, despite having paid in full, but on boxing day where else could they go? The establishment was fairly polite, but made some comment that they couldn't change the room or accommodate them closer to the other one as they were fully booked and the people who had booked those rooms (near the first, acceptable one) had booked directly with the establishment but Lekkeslaap is 'just allocated their 'leftover rooms'. At no stage did anyone inform us that they could not accommodate the family next to or near each other. BUT, Lekkeslaap was not available to contact, neither the 'booking agent' nor main lekkeslaap number. No one was reachable ... i was forced to send an email to their booking email, and TWO days later there is still not even a reply. So no help from Lekkeslaap AT ALL. And a very unhappy family whose trip to PE has been ruined. Further, for two days there has only been cold water in the showers! Will deal with the establishment directly on that one! Lekkeslaap should have someone available to deal with complaints and issues at all times. I mean they are working with accommodation that is busy pretty much all the time. Not happy at all with the 'service' from Lekkeslaap! Most of all, booked identically described rooms at exact same price, but was given one substandard room, not at all the same. I personally will NEVER use Lekkeslaap again!
Vodacom handed over an unpaid cellphone contract 9not mine, but someone who I represent) to their bully boys, Burnard Raaf. The debt formed part of a debt review under Zero Debt, monthly payments made thru Hyphen PDA. During the course of such review, and without notification to either Zero Debt or the client, removed the account from Burnard Raaf and handed it over to TJ Maodi. Attempting to obtain a settlement figure and clear the debt turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Eventually traced to TJ Maodi and PAID, settlement letter received. HOWEVER< Vodacom did not credit the last two monthly payments made to the account before handing it over. The client has therefore had to settle and OVERPAy by this amount. Good luck with trying to get Vodacom legal department to answer why this was done in the first place and what has happened to the money from the last two payments. They should get it back from whereiver it went and reimburse client.
For more than two weeks I have been trying to get settlement figures and answers out of Zero Debt. I received some help, up to a point. BUT my main query, several of the settlement figures and requests for paid-up letters have fallen on deaf ears. WORSE, some of the settlement figures I had to obtain from outside and Zerio Debt through Hyphen PDA in one instance continued paying to an agent that no longer was being used by Vodacom, with the result that the last two Hyphen payments did not reflect against the principal debtor and I have thus had to overpay to settle. In another instance, Hyphen was not paying into the correct FNB account/or FNB changed the account no. None of the amounts reflected on Hyphen PDA match up with the FNB statements, ie again, there is a query where some of the money paid to Hypen/Zero Debt actually ended up!!! Trying to settle and exit debt review, no answer from Zero Debt what else has to be settled. I had a power of attorney to deal on behalf of my son, so its not for me personally. But I am now left in an absolute mess with half the creditors seemingly paid up and a few very important ones NOt. AND NO MORE HELP FROM ZERO DEBT!!!! Not happy at all.
Nedbank Best Bank, Great Service every time I deal with them! I have been banking with Nedbank for more than 10 years. I appreciate the wonderful service they have given me. Every time I need help it is available, within minutes. Today again, thank you to Nompumelelo for your assistance and great advice. Dealing with other banks like FNB is a nightmare, they give you the runaround, musical chairs and cannot get thru to ANYONE who can help BUT NEDBANK IS GREAT EVERY TIME!
FNB call centres completely NON-functional. Countless email and telephone queries to FNB Debt Review Centre, personal loans, keep getting the runaround, been into a physical branch twice, NO help, provided with at least 10 different numbers. All replies to email are just standard we will get back to you ... and then they don;t answer the query and then just tell you the query is 'closed'. then the whole runaround starts again, someone gives you a number to call back, and guess what, no one answers. WHAT are FNB playing at? It is nothing but a musical chairs phone and email runaround. UTTERLY USELESS BANK!!! I am trying to PAY THEM money, ie SETTLE outstanding loans. FOR TWO WEEKS, if i do get a reply, its a different account number and settlement amount every time. THEY cannot confirm WHAT account to pay into. They cannot give me a name or actual email address to obtain paid-up proof of payment. THEY CANNOT give me a simple answer to their 13-digit numbers, if i pay from another bank that only accepts 11 digits EFT, which 11 do i use, the first or last? THE LIST is ENDLESS, I am at my wits end. I have spent hours, days and noiw weeks and I am NO CLOSER TO A RESOLUTION. THANK GOODNESSI I bank with ANOTHER, decent bank, where I can ACTUALLY SPEAK TO A CONSULTANT WHO HELPS ME, without hte musical chairs runaround, AND WITHIN MINUTES! I would NEVER deal with FNB if I didn't have to (and this is just to settle old accounts for my stepson) - the WORST bank ever.
