Dimpho Pule was excellent with my pre-approval or authorisation process
I paid for a dinning table on Monday, the 27th at Clearwater store. The slip came out blank and I was asked to email proof that the money went off my account, which I did while still there. For the past 3 days, they have been telling me that they can't issue an invoice to me cause they don't have proof that I paid and no table. Until I called their account section today then they issued an invoice. Unfortunately I still can't get my dinning table today, I have to wait. . I'm so angry cause, it is their machine which is not working. They said they had a similar problem on Sunday but they continued using the it. Instead everything is turned to me and I must be the one proving that I paid, really? This is so unfair, I swiped my money, left with a quotation only. Why use the machine which they know has problems?
This company is owned or run by one Charl and it's address is in Pretoria. I asked quotes for water electric meters from different companies online and he immediately responded. Then few days later he said he also install solar geysers and he quoted. I paid him the deposit and he came and installed two prepaid electric meters and they are working . He sent a WhatsApp massage saying he has a geyser which the client cancelled the sale, he sent the quote and I did the deposit for it as well. His team came and started with installation of two geysers and we had paid for four and total amount of R41350-00. Everything was happening in the second week of December 2021. The week of Christmas he started with reasons why his team cannot come because the guy was injured, then they are going home for holidays, then he himself was on holiday and he would sort everything on the 3rd of Jan. He promised to give me two free geysers because he inconvenienced us a lot. January 2022 first week, second week still no team to install because of different reasons. He gave excuses until he offered to refund the money. This time he was communicating with my son on WhatsApp. After he failed to refund as promised, my sons WhatsApp communications with Charl disappeared from his phone and my son blocked him. I have some of the communications(voices) which my son forwarded to me during the time. He would just send a voice note saying, "did you get it?" the whole day and for almost three days. And sometimes he would say "my office is busy with it" He will never mentioned what this "it" is. These massages were so annoying cause one could see that there is no payment coming. 21 January 2022, I decided to send him an email and he responded and asked to call which I said I prefer emails cause they have a record. I asked him how he wanted to resolve this issue and he said he will refund. On the 24th of January 2022, he offered to refund R23250-00 in 5 weekly installments. In his email on the 26th of January 2022 he said that he has the material for my job at his office and he could not install because the communication was cut, he has to get a client to sell them to so he can repay me. I said its fine I will come the following day and collect them from his office and see to installation myself BUT he refused and said that lets stick to the refund option. I was happy that at least I would have the materials for the geysers and get someone to install. No refund was received and it has been 8 weeks now. I sent him emails in February and beginning of this month and he never responded. I feel like I am loosing my R41000-00 and it is not a nice feeling at all. I wish i know his offices. The address on the invoice is for a private house and went there. This company is not even registered with CIPC. When I checked the reviews online before I requested the quotes, I read very good reviews for Reliable Plumbers and Electricians cc. A day or so later when I googled Reliable Plumbers I fell into this one for Charl and not the one I read a day before. I never thought there could be two companies doing the same thing with the names so similar to each other. No wonder Charl one is not registered because CIPC will not allow it. I read another bad review about Charl few weeks ago and there is a very good one as well. So really one does not know what to make out of this. Thank you
I signed the bank's offer yesterday and my heart is full of joy. I was seriously doubting the pre-approval done by BetterBond but the banks approved. Mandie De Beer was excellent on communication, she would respond to all emails we sent her and promptly so. I will recommend BetterBond to anyone. She made the process to be very smooth, we got a ridiculously low rate and we can't complaint. I feel like I can apply for another homeloan. Keep up the good work Hanedzani Tshusa
It’s a Sunday morning now is 07:37 and this store is not yet opened. Google says they open at 07:00 and this was updated on 21 February 2021, this is such an inconvenience, please can they correct this?
I have a tenant in Saffron Gardens and my account number is 132771. The amounts are just going up every month from R382.00 in January 2020 to R1643.00 in August 2020. They started by blaming Lockdown, then winter and now its rates increase, this is insane. I have sent them emails and always get Auto Response and no body bothers to address the problem. How can two or three people use that much for cold and hot water? We bought this unit in 2015 and has had different tenants but we never had this much account in a month. I also stay in a complex and my account did not even increase by 20% since the rates increases. Other people are advising that we avoid renting in complexes where Protea Metering in supplying these services but what about us who are property owners? We invested in these properties and we cannot let Protea Metering scammers destroy our investments opportunities. If they are not getting enough revenue because of lockdown, they must not punish/cover the loss from the people who are paying. Lockdown affected almost every one in a way or the other, even people who are paying. Please sort out your mess and I need refund of all the over payments I made. Hanedzani Tshusa
