I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the handling of my refund request. On 10 March 2026, I paid for furniture and sent proof of payment in good faith, assisted by Theresa at the Sandton Essops. I received a quotation which included the items and one delivery charge, which I duly paid. The following day, Theresa informed me that an additional R550 transport fee would be required for delivery in respect of another headboard. This was unreasonable, as my quotation clearly reflected one delivery fee and I had already paid for all items. I then requested a refund and, on 14 March 2026, sent through my proof of banking details. Theresa’s manager also called me to discuss the situation, which I explained. They requested a copy of my ID, which I provided. However, to date, 18 March 2026, payment has not been made. This delay is mala fide and in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act

Essops krugersdorp decided to change my lay-by account that was fully paid to a third party who stole the invoice and wrote an affidavit for the account to be changed from my name to his name without contacting me. So I did a lay-by for bedroom suite at essops krugersdorp the one at chamdoor 2024 around may. I payed the account fully the amount of 69000 I then asked them to hold on to the property as I’m still in the process of finalising living arrangements. Unfortunately my living arrangements failed. I went back to them to try and change the delivery address just to find out that my account was refunded last year May to the third party on basis of affidavit. The affidavit reads as follows (due to popi act I won’t mention names( I so so so request that the the account must be moved from the owner’s name to my name as I’m the one who has been paying the account and I future request a refund) I asked them so you guys decided to access my account and change it without my permission or court order but based on an affidavit that can be written by anyone? Did you verify the account that’s been making payments vs the refund account? Who exactly gave you the permission to even change it because according to my stupid mind only the court can make that ruling not the police. They said I’m directing my anger to the wrong people I must direct it to the person who came and requested the refund under false pretence. I must go open a ***** case against him. I told them that person took nothing from my therefore I won’t be opening a case for him, I gave my money to Essops not the third party they told me the is nothing they can do they did what the affidavit said they must do not the court order. Not even can you give us time to investigate the matter

The service I got from Montana essops by Dee was excellent she really exceeded my expectations, she is patient with people, she gives advice where needed, she smiles with clients and very bubbly I can say I would recommend people to be assisted by her coz you get to enjoy what you bought before it even gets home

We were shopping for a lounge suite and contacted multiple suppliers. A big shout out to Dirushka who was quick on the draw with multiple options. Her service was prompt, efficient and she went to a lot of effort to send pictures and pricing via voice notes, allowing us to make a quick and decisive decision. She was the only person to follow up and through from cradle to crave. Thanks for the great service. I highly recommend her and the service I have received at the Montana branch. Dee from Eppos helped me so much, kept me informed about when my couch will be delivered also with choosing the right couch for my space. When the couch arrived thr center console was not opening and it had to go back to the factory, Dee made sure following day i got a console that works. So happy
