I went on to the Outsurance website to do an online quote for car & household insurance. I followed all the steps online, but I DID NOT hit the submit button - so I DID NOT request a call back or complete the request for a quote. However, I am being hounded by calls from the Outsurance call centre. At least 20 to 30 calls per day! I fortunately have a spam filter that (a) lets me know who is calling and (b) blocks the calls, but the constant harassment is overwhelming. I am now completely put off ever considering Outsurance as an insurance option. So, if you are considering getting a quote from Outsurance, please be ready for constant bombardment!
So impressed with Vodacom Fibre. I ordered my fibre deal online at 09h30 on 17 August and by 07h30 on 19 August - less than 48 hours, I am up and running! The router was delivered at 11h00 on 18 August (thanks RAM!) and it took just a few more hours for activation. I did have the Vumatel line already installed in my home, so I didn't need to wait for that, but I'm still super impressed with Vodacom's efficiency. Thank you!!!
Super impressed again with Makro online shopping. I ordered a bicycle online at 8pm on Friday evening, and the item was delivered at 11 am on Sunday. Thanks Makro for processing my order so quickly and efficiently!
Very impressed with Makro Online. I placed an order on Sunday 12 July. Monday morning 13 July I received an sms to say my order had been picked up by the courier company and was out for delivery, and by Monday 1 pm I had received my order! Amazing! Thanks Makro.
So, I have just officially been scammed by Shaun Jonker of Parkmor Paving. On 25 June I paid him a deposit for my paving project which was set for 2 July. On the night of 1 July he calls me to say unfortunately he can't do the paving the next day because the person assigned to the job has Covid-19. He will call me again to reschedule. Since then he has been giving me the run-around in terms of getting back to me. However, we finally set on a new date of 13 July which I confirmed on Friday 10th. It's now 13 July and no sign of Shaun / Parkmor Paving. All calls go to voicemail, and WhatsApp messages are unread. Email and landline are all directed straight to Shaun, so there is no one else to contact and no further recourse. I realise now he has no intention of doing the work and has actually stolen my deposit. I wish I had read all these other reviews earlier. I can kick myself for not doing so. But please be warned - do not do dealings with Parkmor Paving.
Thank you to TUMI at MiWay for his helpful service and quick turnaround time in sending a plumber to attend to my home emergency. Thank you also to STANLEY, the plumber dispatched by MiWay, who arrived in good time and was very courteous, friendly and helpful I really appreciate the good service from MiWay!
