If there is any advise to anyone trying to do business with them, dont. Scott, them manager or owner, im not sure. Is full of promisses when you take your car there. Untill he has it then the excuses start, or he justb doesnt awner your calls or drop your calls. Full of excuses. I had to cancel my familys holliday because of his empty promisses.
After a good review of how their service in loggin a claim and to get my car to the bodyshop, there is no help from @kingprice to assist with a panelbeater playing games and lying to their clients. Ive informed them of ***** on the panelbeaters side, they dont care. Ive asked them to intervene because the deadline keeps on moving, was suppose to pick up my vehicle on Friday the 23rd, the 3rd collection date, now its this Friday the 30th. Everytime king price just say its got nothing to do with them
My vehicle was in an accident on the 15th of Feb, i tried to cliam trough the guilty partys insurance(Bryte). They tried taking me for a ride, I ended up going back to King Price, my current insurer. I refered the claim back to them on the 22nd Apr, and the lady helped me with patience and profesionalism, i told them i need my car for my holiday middle of this month, the went out of their way to get me sorted. The 5th of May i was contacted to take my car in to be repaired. Witch took a load of me. Thank you King Price for your quick and painless service.
Be warned of the big warentys that Chery promise with their sales pitches. When i bought my car in 2022 the dealer (Lydenburg) said everthing on these warrentys are good. The roads are bad in our area en then the dealer told me you get a 2year tyre and rim warrenty free on the cars so no need to worry about potholes. Well woke up one day and my wheel was flat pumped it and it was flat in fhe agternoon again. Took the wheel in and they showed me a crack in my rim. No tire damadge. Asked them to sort it out an the warrenty. After being bounced around between call centers for a week they came back and told me they just cover scratches and dents on the rims. If the cannot follow through on a simple rim warrenty i dont want to know the problems ill have when im gonna need to claim on the engin item witch Chery say is also under warrenty. BE CAREFULL I DONT BELIEVE THEY WILL STAND BY THEIR WARRENTYS.
This must be the company with the worst costumer support in the industry. A true south african company. As long as they get their money they can not care less. Be warned when moving to this company. I have been with them for 2 months now. 1st month great. 2nd. Try to sort out a debit order that did not whent off. I was on the line. Came 5 o clock, call was dropped. Phoned back, i can only speak to them the next day. A day later my wifi stopped working again, this was saterday(02/12/23) they will send someone out first thing monday. Everytime you speak to them a ticket was booked. But no one comes. People be warned. They do not care about their costomers. As long as you pay them. All is well in their eyes.
I bought a new car last week. Read all my claims from my previous insurer to them. I took out the policy because their price was the best 3 days later they phone me and told me my premium is going up by almost R200. How can a company claim to be so good but can not even stay true to their word for less than a week. My advise to anyone would not be to trust what they sell you. They are incapable of doing a propper quote.
Santam is not a insurance you want to have when you have been burglurized. Their service is absolutely pathetic. They apoint a consultant to you. That is the one guy( Sharief Abrahms in my case) in santam that you can never get a hold of. And you can leave messages for him to phone back, it never happens. On Monday ( 10th) they said everything is approved, just to find out the assesor (Derek )did not do his job properly. Only half the stuff was paid out. I was told the money was loaded on the card and the balance of the rest will just be loaded later. My big issue is buying my wife a new phone because she was without a phone since 10th of Dec 2021. Try to buy a phone, the card was not working. Phone them back, they havent cleared the funds. The communication between santam and the assesors working below them are so bad they cannot give you feedback. And the same with santam and their cleints. I asked Sharief for updates and nothing. Seeing as i gave them a month and nothing happend. Trying to babysit them the last week and still the same. Best of all it was the same when they broke into my house a year and a bit ago. These people and their bad seevice doesent change.
Yesterday (30/11/2020). I booked a table at ocean basket Lydenburg for my wifes birthday, we were alot of people and it was for 18:00. As the people started to arive we started to srtuggle with the service as only one waiter was helping a group of 20 people. Not once did the manager come out and offer any help. At a later stage they send another waiter to help. My wife order a tar tar sauce wither her food and afterwards my sister also did, and the waiter (Surprise) laughed at her and said they can share. Then we order a drink and asked for extra shot glasses and he told us they dont have just behind him another brought out shooters for another table. He then continued with an attitude saying its not his fault if he cant find it. Needles to say the attitude of one person spoiled a whole party and still no manager to be seen.
Ive been with santam for 3 years now. And dodnt had a problem at first. 2 motor vehicle claims no issues. I had a burglary on the 15th of October 2020. And the process is dragging. You never seem to get hold of someone. And if you do they just refer you. Theyve asighed someone to my case but he is on leave now. And no one else is helping. How can you have such a stupid business model. I have vehicle standing because the keys were stolen. And they could not care less. Im struggeling to see why ive said "YES"
I recently bought a vehicle from Mit Mak in Pretoria north. Francois was the sales person and between him and Eduan the fni manager ive got a very good deal and the service they provided me was exellent. Thank you both.
