I have been waiting for over a year for a claim to be finalized and to date all I get is awaiting further information. Everything that was requested was submitted and now they ask for information from doctors I even forgot I had seen. Colleen is in the complaints department and keeps promising answers and doesn't call back after and I have been trying to call since last week as she requested and she don't answer the call. Why is it that Old Mutual doesn't have timeliness for claims as Colleen has said they can take as long as they wish but I must keep paying for the policy. Customers take policies so that they are cover but will die before Old Mutual desides to pay a claim. They don't answer emails or answer calls. OLD MUTUAL IS A DEAD SERVICE. The only time you get service is when you dead. Colleen promised answers and vanished.
I am truly disgusted by Old Mutuals customer service. I have been medically boarded from my employment due to an accident which happened at work. when I started my claim I had a broker who sold me the policy(Eugene Pillay). while busy with the claim my broker informs me he will no longer handle my claim and I must submit all my claims by myself. I started submitting all my paperwork by myself from home and for some reason old mutual kept saying attachment not received so I started going to their office and sending it from their offices in Ladysmith and then they kept saying that not all pages are sent. I have been sending the paperwork over and over again since November 2023 and still they say it is not received. I have all the emails which was sent to old mutual from my email and from their office. I am still paying for my policies and still my claims are pending. I have spoken to Dale Nadesan from old mutual and he says there is nothing he can do and I should go to the ombudsman. he is a manager and cannot help customers. I have now decided to go to media platforms and show the world what old mutual does to paying customers and how they are delaying claims and show how customers are suffering even after planning by taking out policies to safeguard our families. Old Mutual is just a **** and we the customers are left to suffer. it is time the people know what Old Mutual is doing to its customers so I will be going to the social media and spread my story across the country and further.
I pawned my cellphone at cash crusaders Ladysmith in kzn a few months ago, I did inform Prince it was still on contract and he said it would be fine. I had a emergency out of town on the due date and called the manager Prince and explained to him my problem and that I would be there on Monday morning to pay for my phone. He was very understanding on the phone and agreed to my request. On Monday when I went to pay for my phone, I found it on the shelf for sale. I asked Prince why did he put my phone for sale when he agreed to keep it till Monday morning like he agreed to. he said he cannot remember speaking to me or making any agreement. in front of him I called Zanele the employee who gave Prince the phone when I called and he confirmed that i did indeed call on the Saturday and that I spoke to Prince. I did not get my phone back from cash crusaders and I had lost all my information which was on my phone. I requested head office to resolve the issue and got no response. Prince did contact me a few weeks later to apologize for what happened and that he was busy when I called and forgot about what we spoke on the phone when I called. he offered my phone back to me at the selling price and I refused to pay my phone after he wiped it clean and the only photos that I had of my late mother was lost when he wiped the phone. I asked him that his mistake caused this issue and that I should not be the only person to be at a loose. he did not want to speak at the shop and offered a buy back of R500 and he would cover the balance to compensate for my lose. I agreed but when I tried to buy back he denied the buyback and denied making any agreement with me. I left the matter as such. now months later I and my entire family has been banned from doing business at cash crusaders this was told to me by Byron another manager at the store. head office should resolve matters and not blacklist an entire family because of a mistake made by the manager in the store and now customers must suffer. service is at it lowest at cash crusaders.
I was in checkers Ladysmith in kzn at the square shopping center. The manager by the name of Kenny a african male was ****ed drunk in uniform and demanding respect from me when i complained about double standards when it comes to service. When i asked about the phone number for the head office he grabbed my phone out of my hands because i videoed him in his state. He is an embarrassment to the company and service. I found a number to customer service and they promised to call me back and have not done so. When i called back there is no answer. This is the standard of service we are getting in the Square Checkers. Discusting behavior from management and customer service. You cannot allow a drunk to run your store.
I have purchased an aiwa acsd-5200. The remote stopped working and the speakers are falling apart. I had to use silicone and fix the speaker boxes. I tried getting a replacement remote and it is imposible to do so as all the universal remotes don't work and contacting aiwa was a even bigger waste of time. They cannot help one bit. I would never advise anybody to purchase aiwa products at all. There is no after market service at all.
I have been having a problem for almost a year now. A law company has garnished my wages without a court order. I have been to court and was ask to go to legal aid and they can help me with a impeachment and recover my money. I have been running to the ladysmith legal aid board since November 2020 and after 10 months tells me sorry we cannot help you. What is that. They are useless.
This company destroyed my life. I lost my car and family because they never made payment for my accounts and when they where cought out apologies and money returned. But they never removed my name from debt review now when I can finally sort my life out as i am working. ITC still got me listed as under debt review. Tried calling Alfanso Pedro and the company is split and they cannot sort anything out for me. But according to the ITC only ALFANSO PEDRO can remove the listing. This company took my money and put me in more trouble and blocked my entire life now. Please help me remove that listing asap.
I complained twice now on Hello PETER. First time was a waste as standard bank cannot do anything properly. Second time they promised to get a senior member to contact me and resolve the problems. It has been 6 days and no call from anybody. My account is still being debited every week and going further into arrears yet I asked them to stop until the problem is resolved. Standard bank is setting the standard for the worst bank in the world. My advice never use standard they don't care about customers and how thier negligence effects customers lives. They just take your money. It is all about thier profits. Not customers
A few years ago I had a money order against my wages. This was paid up in full and I never heard again from A Singh lawyers for about 3 years. Now again she put a money order against my wages. Now nobody can help me solve this problem the lawyer says there was an outstanding amount. Now the amount is more than the first time.
I have been complaining about standard banks useless service since May 2020. Since the start of COVID19. I was approved for the debt holiday cos I was not getting an income. Standard bank just kept debitting my account. I have lost so much of funds because of my bank charges and STANDARD BANK refuses to resolve the issue properly. I informed the bank that I will not make a single payment untill my account is put back to the original amount and proper arrangements made to start my payments again. My credit ratings are dropping cos of standard bank. Lawyers from the bank call and harrase me all the time. I am so stress out cos of standard bank. My account was not behind at all and would have been paid up in December 2020. Now I am in arrears and being charged even more interest on that and they added me for bad credit rattings. They are destroying my life. This i my second review for standard bank. I will add a new one every week until we have resolved the problem.
