I have submitted a claim for an accident that occurred on 12 February 2026 with Prime South Africa (which I am insured with for over 2 years) 1st time ever that I submitted a claim & it was declined. The 3rd party involved in the accident left the scene without exchanging any details with me. I disagree with the claim outcome as the information stated on the outcome is incorrect and I dispute the facts. they are the poorest service provider and a full & fair investigation to be done on my claim outcome,
I had a 24 month WIFI Contract with MTN. At the end of the contract I informed MTN in writing that I do not wish to upgrade my contracts(there are cheaper packages than a fixed 24 or 36 month contract). So I was informed that I should only cancel a month before my contract expires, otherwise I will be billed extra charges. On 29/02/2024 I informed MTN in writing that I wish to cancel my contract (giving them 30 day notice in writing of my termination) & I was informed that I need to call 083 135. I called the call centre & informed them of my termination. Telephonically I was informed by the call centre that my contract will be terminated on 26/03/2024 On 27/03/2024 I was invoiced for month to month billing, I disputed the amount & was told to take my modem to the nearest store where they will cancel my contract once I return the modem. At a MTN store I was told that I do not need to return my modem as it was on a fixed 24 month contract & the contract ended end of March 2024 Email after email was sent with no response from MTN & yesterday I received another bill this month for month to month out of contract fees showing that I am now in arrears. So I called 083 135 again today & was put through to the retention department. They acknowledged telephonically that they can see on their system that I've cancelled my contract, but they can not terminate my contract because of monies owed (these so claimed monies is for the month to month billing. the WIFI is not in use as the services was disconnected upon termination of the contract end of March 2024) I refuse to pay any amount owing to MTN after the termination of my contract as I have followed the procedures as told by MTN Still this is not good enough to acknowledge my termination request until I've paid the arrears for the out of contract month to month ( April & May 2024) NOTE THAT THE SERVICE BEING CHARGED FOR IS NOT IN USE I was then informed once I've paid the outstanding invoices then ONLY will MTN accept a 30 day notice of the cancelation. Seems like this is going nowhere slowly even with all the evidence that I can prove & surely, I am not the only customer complaining about this...
These agents are harassing me at work phoning constantly , and then asking for me to verify my personal information, numerous times I have requested them to email me exactly what they want from me, and because I refuse to disclose my personal information telephonically to them they threaten to hand me over.....if you can' t provide in writing what your concerns are please stop this nonsense & respect my privacy at my work place:-(
I think that I have just been ****med by this company, quoted me R 200 call out fee to unlock my car door for me, in the end I had to pay R 3900, never was I informed to that's the price I have to pay, and they demanded immediate payment, I have asked to pay over 2 installment because this amount was not planned for, which they refused and said that they can't leave until its paid, that was very intimidating.....as a single female I truly feel ****med and victimized by this company, and would not recommend dealings with them!
Very satisfied with their review on my policy 💃🏻
I have requested numerous of times for TransUnion to update my credit report as I am no longer under debt review. from 2016 to 2019 I have also presented them with my paid up letters & certificate , and since my dispute in September 2020 (6 months later) nothing has been done about this. This have a negative impact on my credit worthiness and I don't know how to resolve this.
