I had a terrible experience with this Chem Lab Supplies. Their website's payment checkout was not active, and I had to contact them for a manual invoice and do EFT instead of the payment options they provided on the site. Not to mention that the price they invoiced me for was higher than what was on the website! I had to phone days later to confirm if payment was received and if my package was shipped. It turned out that they didn't have my address due & if I never called, they'd never have shipped my product. When the package finally arrived, it was half of what I ordered but they wrote the weight I ordered on the product label… I have a scale & it was clearly less so I weighed it and sent them a video. They sent the other half BUT I never asked for that, they just did what they wanted. And then later when I tested the purity of the chemical I ordered, the results were inconclusive—either the product was fake or the diluted to next to nothing!!! When I sent them an email about this, requesting a refund, they never responded. I would strongly advise people to stay away from this supplier. They are clearly scammers!
Today, April 23, 2021 I was pick-pocketed by a trolley-boy! This traumatic incident happened at Westgate Mall, Mitchells Plain. And they do not want me to see the security footage. Either because they know the only logical explanation is that the trolley-boy took it, as there was no one else around OR they DO NOT have security cameras in fact! Buyer's Beware! So how it went down is, I requested an Uber after doing shopping and as soon as I got in the car, I noticed my phone was missing! But I just requested an Uber and my pockets have zips and apparently I was seen on camera putting my phone in my pocket, so the phone couldn't have gone far. The security won't let me see the video footage which leads me to believe they either DO NOT have video footage OR they KNOW it IS the trolley-boy as he was the only one in the vicinity at the time of the incident. I just cannot take the excuse they said that "a lady picked up the phone & drove off". If that was true, why not show me the footage? Their excuse is the polar opposite of truth that a trolley-boy took it. But if he did, who's liable? I would like the video footage as whoever employs that trolley-boy needs to get me a new phone. Please review the video evidence again as you will find your trolley-boy pick-pocketed me. Shame on me for tipping him also.....
I, Jacquie took out a contract with Cell C 2 days ago for a HUAWEI P Smart and as soon as I got home I noticed this phone can't download apps so I went to return it. Cell C Promenade refused my return and told me the salesman wasn't in and there's nothing they can do. I went back today and now he says he explained this but why in the hell would I agree to buy a BRICK that can't even load Gmail? Now he's saying he told me about this and how it's illegal for HUAWEI devices to use Google apps - read that again, he said he told me an ANDROID DEVICE CANNOT HAVE ANDROID APPLICATIONS. Why would I agree to this. Now he says I need to pay the full amount to cancel but then I just have the phone but I want my money.
I bought the Bennett Read Finesse 16 Pcs Pot Set and had a issue where my pot lid melted - it has a plastic thermometer built-in and I guess it got too hot or whatever so that basically rendered the lid useless as it have off this horrid flume and the handle was warped. Anyway it has a 25-year warranty so I contacted Tevo to explain the issue. I had difficulty contacting them but when I finally got hold of someone, they helped with sourcing a replacement lid and delivering it to my house. Granted they first sent the wrong size but they quickly corrected the issue and got me the correct lid so now my set is complete again. I'm a happy customer. If you see this set in Game or Makro, get it before it sells out, it's really good quality so no complaints on that front. And it also has a excellent warranty.
I booked a courier to pick up a package and made a mistake in the address so cancelled the request thinking they will just refund the R150 - they did not. Now I'm R300 in the hole and these aholes won't refund me and there's no way to contact them. They are scammers, please stay away.
I bought the Bennett Read 16-Piece Finesse Stainless Steel Cookware Set and was inked paler set back by the quality. The utensils are flimsy and all but useless, but whatever I bought it for the pots with a 25 year warranty - BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. Good luck trying to get that warranty fulfilled. I thought the posts looked nice with fancy thermo meters that I barely even used. Problem is one of the pots' lids got so hot, the thermometer melted & warped - the plastic stank up the house. I don't have a problem with the quality as this was my mistake for leaving the stove unattended but there wasn't even a fire so how did the lid melt??? Even so, I was willing to pay to have the pot swapped out or just the lid exchanged as I still kind of like the pots & want to keep them as it's what I wanted. Problem is no one is returning emails or phone calls and I've contacted Tevo via email & phone - no help and neither is Makro. It feels like it will take 25 years to get in touch with an actual human so that 25 year warranty is fn useless.
Terrible service. I have contacted contacted all the listed emails and spent a total of over 2 hours on hold just to get into my account with Experian - guess what? No help! Zintle Kwetshube 's email is full so I can't reach out to her as all the messages just bounce. Emile Pharoah & Samantha Booysen leave my messages on read for weeks - radio silence. And I'm not even sure this No-Rooi Lusu person exists as I got a robotic confirmation email but that's it. I have tried all avenues to resolve my issues as someone recently committed fraud with my details and I want to get my report to see if there's any other instances as my credit score was severely affected in the last couple months with no explanation. I thought the government was bad but this company is just a black-hole where you never get to speak to a human. If I can't reach you, at least make it easy for me to resolve the issue on my own without having to spend my minutes praying someone with a pulse picks up a phone.
