WHAT A SHOCKING EXPERIENCE. I LODGED A COMPLAINT OVER AND OVER AND OVER A MR CHETTY CORRESPONDED AND ASSURED ME TO RESOLVE THIS. I WAS PROMISED A REFUND 17 DECEMBER. IT IS NOW 9 JANUARY AND NOW HE IS JUST IGNORING MY EMAILS - WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE RECEIVED SUCH POOR SERVICE FROM A COMPANY OR AN INDIVIDUAL.
I tried to place 3 orders, 1 with Mr Price Sport, 1 with Mr Price Home and 1 with Sheet Street. All 3 orders came back as unsuccesfful but funds were still taken. I am out of pocket with R2700 and it has been almost 10 days now - with nobody assisting me properly - I was told a few days ago my refunds are being processed and will take 3 to 5 days - now today I am told - the matter is still being investigated. You can email - nobody gets back to you. I want my issue resolved urgently. The 3 orders in question are: R1 180.42 - Ref number: 203000076349 and R1 189.91 - Ref Number: 202111029730 and R399.98 - Ref Number: 207130325458
Worst Experience ever. Booked on Booking.com. Paid in full. Arrived same time as some UDM Political guests. Our rooms were given to others. We were told sorry we dont have rooms for you. We were very upset. And when we left to go to another hotel the managers laughed at us. What a ****** establishment. Service from the waitress Amanda and the Parking attendant and the Manager Lorenzo was shocking. Do NOT EVER stay at this sh#thole.
I have never been so unfairly treated by a company. They took the funds for my Fridge and Water Dispenser on 16 Feb. 2 weeks later I was advised my fridge is coming and the water dispenser is sold out - so 5 days ago I was at last refunded for the dispenser. They then delivered the wrong fridge to me almost 2 weeks ago - from there I have been trying to speak to a manager - they just dont speak to people. I dont think they have managers there. They keep promising to fetch the fridge and then we will see if there is stock of the one I wanted. I have sent emails and made phone calls - nobody is interested in helping you. I am absolutely shocked and appalled that a company is allowed to do this to customers. Its been almost a month now and I am still battling. I am now going to place an article in our local newspaper to warn people against using them. Absolutely never, ever again.
We received a Payment holiday from Standard bank in April 2020 - for 3 months - being April and May and June. Then in June we received another sms saying it is extended with 3 months being July, August and September. Then in September I received another sms saying another 3 months - which is fantastic because we will only be back up in January - and this 3 months will make it, October, November and December - so we called to confirm. The lady my husband spoke to said sir I dont see any debit raised for October so it looks like it is correct. And your other bond's debit did not go off - so it is most definately correct. Left at that then - we had a person over the phone saying everything looked right and the sms confirmed we had another holiday. Now in November only I get a phone call saying we are a month behind - I was shocked - I said but I dont understand - she said she will escalate it and somebody will call us back. Nobody did. I again called - spoke to a gentleman Obed who confirmed mam - if they made a commitment with an sms they have to honor it. So again - confirmation that the holiday will be granted. Then today Saturday 7 November 2020 I get a phone call from a Samantha Roslyn Sikhot on number: 011 631 6702 saying I am in arrears. I said no - i have an sms - she said well yes that sms is an error. I said but that is not treating me fairly as the customer and totally against what the FAIS act is for. She said well it was an error and I must pay. If I want another extension I must apply for it - I said but you are misunderstanding your sms says I have an extension and I demand that you honour your extension based on phone calls and an sms received. I dont need to apply for it - I already have it She said well she will then just hand my file over to debt collection and they will contact me all hours of the day to drive me crazy. Those were her exact words and I am sure you can trace the call. I said this is not right in terms of FAIS and I will take it to the Ombud. I asked to speak to someone higher up - a manager or somebody. She then threw the phone down in my ear.
