I placed my order on the 9 June 2025. I have send two emails asking about an update on my order with no reply. It is now 14 days since my order and still no communication from them.
The customer service of Vodacom is absolutely horrific. My husband passed away in 2024. Since then I have been battling to put my children's cellphones on my name. Been to the Mall of the South Branch 3 times. they say I can't afford it. I must come back. But in the mean time I have been paying this account by eft. So last time I was at the branch they said I must phone the call center. I phone the call center and they said they cant help me. I must go to the branch. After telling them AGAIN he has passed away. They said OH no you must speak to a different department the deceased department. I told them but I have been telling you this for a year. Then I got through to the deceased department they said oh hey have flagged his account now. It is going to be suspended. I told her how can u do that??? This is the lines of my children. How do you want me to get hold of them??? She said but he has passed away.. I told her I KNOW!! I am trying to sort this out for a year now and been paying this account every month for a year!! I asked to speak to a supervisor. Apparently there is not one available!!! Ask to be phoned back and still no one has phoned me. So I do not understand why this is such a big problem. Why would they rather cancel phone lines that is my children's phones then just help me get the problem sorted that I have been telling them about for more than a year. I cant wait for the contracts to end so I can move to a company that has some compassion for someone with a death in the family and not add to my stress and anxiety.
I have been with ABSA for years so the service I received has been shocking. I am looking at moving banks. I cancelled ABSA insurance because the monthly cost was 200% more expensive than other companies. The consultant phoned me and asked why I am cancelling. I told him and asked him on record if ABSA will be cancelling the debit order, he said yes mam don't worry. Well it has been 2 months of me going to the bank to cancel the debit order and reverse it and now THEY ARE CHARGING ME R40 A TRANSACTION FOR REVERSING THE DEBIT ORDER THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO CANCEL. The service is shocking!!! And they can't tell me that the debit order won't go off again.
I only give this company a 1 star because there is no zero rating. Do not use them!! Please people do not waist your money. We have been rejected by them twice now. The first time they said please upgrade and next time there will not be any of this because you are on a higher plan. Guess what! We have been paying the higher policy for a few months. But when we had to operate on our dogs leg. They just refused to cover the prosedure..... Have not seen such sharks in all my life!! Please people do not use this insurance. And don't believe it when they tell u, but you will have R40 000 available for hospital stay.... Big big lie. They just reject your claim. And that is that.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We were told that if it is for hospital it would be covered. One morning our dog could just not walk. Nothing wrong with him before. Went to the vet and they said his knees are potting out we needed to see a specialist. A week later he needed an operation. One plan covered nothing!! Please stay away
Please do not order from them. My first order was the 17 February 2021 by May 2021 I have still not received my order. After I kept on emailing them they asked if I can please order something else. This was in May, by the middle of June 2021 I still have not received anything. Then I told them to please refund my money. Only after 3 weeks did they refund me after a big fight. So 5 months in total. Take note, they do not keep you updated unless you ask. They DO NOT answer any phone calls!!!
The money greediest company out there!!! Will never have a function here. We could not even just stand in the parking lot for a few photos with the family before the security harasses you to pay an entrance fee!!!! What even!!! Haven't been treated like this ever!!! But when you look through the gate it is packed with people!!! What happened to covid?????
I booked a family photoshoot that she had on special in May 2020 for my husband's 50th birthday in November 2020. I had to pay her still in that week (May) confirmed again after payment. She said she received it all good. Confirmed again a month before. She said all good. Confirmed again on 3 weeks and a week before my husband's party, still all good.... The day before my husband's party at 2 o'clock the afternoon after I send her a location (to confirm again) she just sends me a message to say that she won't be able to make it!!!! When I phone no answer!!! When I got hold of her she us sorry and will pay me the money back!!! How is that for bad service. I had to pay alot more money to suddenly phone around. Do you know how stressful that is!!! Excuse was oh I had a Bride move her wedding!!! Really???? A day before???? Whould never recommended her at all.
