I have been subscribed for more than 10 years. The last 3 years delivery service have failed dismissaly. I get that post office went backwards but after they confirmed I can get hand delivery I am still not getting my magazine. Total waste of money at the moment and as far as I am concerned you are most welcome to fail like any other business that forgot to look after the customer. I have reported this issue to them and "we will get back to you soonest". You know what? Stuff it. I am done
I subscribed to Car Magazine (close on 10 years running) on 19 April 2021 after my subscription lapsed. I got no confirmation and decided to query. After a few non-helping answers, I made contact with Arena Holdings direct (Wilma) who promptly informed me this is not how they do business and will have the matter resolved. My last correspondence with them was 17 June 2021 and still no further confirmation or magazine received. So 2 months after paying for a Car subscription nothing has happened except my bank balance getting less. The service is pathetic to say the least, prior years it was easy to renew my subscription. Now I will probably just cancel it. For Car magazine editor, I suggest you get someone else to handle your subscriptions or face the path so many other magazines has followed - if you don't get subscribers (made impossible by the people handling subscriptions) then who will pay the bills?

Great communication from order to delivery. Have used them a few times and have never been disappointed. Also adds some personal touches to each delivery. Also, have a look at their specials! Many times see better prices here than on other online retailers.
I took out a peronal loan from ABSA recently. During the process I was not informed that they added cedit life to the loan, I was merely informed the payment per month will be x amount which I accepted. When I got my 1st statement I noticed that R280 for credit life was included in the premium. I immediately contacted the consultant and expressed my dissatisfaction as I have had numerous loans prior and never took out credit protection as I have ample life insurance. She first told me it is mandatory, which I disputed and if so they were required to inform me accordingly when applying. I mentioned that on their website when calculating a personal loan, you had the option to tick the box or leave blank for credit life. After consulting with her supervisor I was informed they would cancel the credit life if I could offer a life policy as security, which I promptly did. I received confirmation from the branch that the credit life was canceled and at the end of the month even received a refund of the policy premium. To my surprise of course, the next month they just continued to deduct the credit life. I immediately sent a mail to the branch querying this. I was totally ignored although I received a read receipt. After giving the branch 5 business days to rectify the matter, nothing happened. I then did a customer complaint on ABSA website and on 2 November received a computer response stating that I will receive a personal response within 48 hours. Guess what. Nothing to date. So ABSA sells you something you do not need without informing you and then ignores you when you ask for it to be resolved.
