Had my card stolen and money taken from my account in October 2021, reported it to fraud department straight after it happened. Besides the gemors in trying to get a new card, I am still waiting for my refund. I phoned to follow up in January 2022 and was on hold for more than 30minutes before someone answered, I was told the money would be in my account within 48 hrs , got a SMS saying same and am still waiting. Been trying to phone the fraud line multiple times. Have emailed and no one is answering anything..most frustrating. If you are experiencing high call volumes then hire more staff, I don't have the time or money to sit around waiting on phone or text go queue in a branch. Have been with standard bank for years, but am seriously considering leaving at this rate.
I purchased a product last year November from game greenacres in Port Elizabeth, it was faulty so I returned it in January, even then the customer service in store was below average. The online customer service was okay where I atleast had some feedback, but I had no feedback from the store itself and I continually have to keep following up. I eventually got a call from someone from the store to say that my item would be replaced by the supplier and should arrive within the following 2 weeks and I would be called to collect..2months later..still nothing. I followed up AGAIN and again.. eventually got a call from the store who was going to check what was happening and call me right back. 3weeks later I am STILL waiting for the call. Again followed up on the online platform only to be told that they must close the ticket as store credit was given. No one told me anything about this!!!! I was meant to be getting a replacement item. If I hadn't followed up I would have had zero feedback or knowledge of what is happening . Their customer service is pathetic.
I started using MailChimp to do campaigns to promote my small business, for the first month or two it was fine but now they don't seem to recognise a Gmail account which means majority of my subscribers don't even get my articles. I put a lot of time and effort into creating campaigns and articles, trying to get new subscribers when majority of my audience doesn't even receive them. Waste of time and effort, they have no regard for the smaller businesses and will probably only assist if you pay for the service. They never get back to you when you report it either. Rather don't offer the free service then.
