I am sorry but I don't think this company deserves even 1 star. The service received was totally appalling. We initially decided to use Duramaster because of all the good reviews. We were in for a rude surprise. First my husband had to phone the office 4 times before Mark called back for the quote. We should have known even then that this was the kind of service we can expect from the company. Then an appointment was made for Mark to come do the quote and the time was pushed back 3 times until he showed up late the Saturday afternoon after the arrangement was made for 12h00. A whole Saturday waiting. So now it comes to the installation. For some reason on the Tuesday Mark send my husband photo's of problems with their vehicle, although the installation in scheduled for the Friday. Probably have to start early with the excuses. Friday we get a photo the tyre of the vehicle is flat, so the installation gets pushed to 14h00. Now the team is delayed and will be there 15h30. 16h00 we phone to ask what is going on, mark will get back to us but doesn't. Try to phone Mark but he keeps diverting the calls. The office is open until 17h00 so I phone the office. They will get back to us. Mark sends a sms stating the team will be there in a couple of minutes. Friday evening, we are braaiing and the team shows up after 17h00. But when they start with the installation the blinds are all wrong. Suppose to have a window and a window on the door yet the door has no window. My husband told them take it down and take it back. I am not paying for this. Mark quickly speak to the installers on the phone and assures it is his fault and they will rectify. We are assured it will be installed on the Tuesday by 14h00. No surprise the time get pushed back, Mark is not available for any calls and even the office is closed as no one answered the phone at 16h50. Installation team shows up 17h15. I will never recommend this company with this level service. There is no service and no feedback. You have to pay for the blinds an get excuses and then installers arrive at the most inconvenient times.
A new KFC branch opened close to our home and I took my daughter there for ice cream. There were 1 person in front of me in the drive thru and 1 behind me. Slow afternoon. After we had paid it took them almost 10 minutes to give us the ice cream. The lady at the window were already packing the meal of the car behind me and when we finally received the ice cream I told her this is very slow, so very professionally she just shrugged at me... I wrote a complaint to kfc but they did not even acknowledge receipt of the complaint, no one could even be bothered to apologise. This must be the level of service we can expect from KFC going forward
Extremely rude and arrogant agents. Bought a property that they used to manage and then the agent refused to bring the keys at date of transfer. Left the property with fittings and fixtures broken and refused to take any responsibility. Will never recommend them to anyone.
I saw a mattress on the metro lifestyle website that I wanted to purchase. I do not want to order online as I can't wait 5 business days for delivery. I tried phoning the Montana Branch to check if they have stock in store. No answer even though I tried phoning throughout the day. Next I sent through a query on the whatsapp line. No answer and or feedback 24 hours later. I tried sending an email on the contact form. Then someone from Northgate contacted me. Even though I mentioned Montana the query was still sent through to the wrong store. He said he would get someone from Montana to contact me. Johnny from Montana contacted me and told me he would get the mattress in stock for me by the following morning but that he would phone me when the stock arrives as I live more than 13km away. I still tried contacting the Montana store. Still no answer. No phone call from Johnny. Even on facebook after I mentioned I get no feedback from anyone that still refer me to the whatsapp line. Pathethic service
I went to Pep Madelief store. Firstly I had to walk around people in the entrance who were taking photos and a display before I could even enter. This already had me irritated. I got the baby cream I was there to buy and proceeded to the till. NO STAFF. After waiting approximately 4 minutes, one of the photo people said oh a customer. Turns out it was staff standing and bocking the doorway. I told the lady how do you take personal pictures and clients have to stand around and wait. She thought I was joking and did nota take my complaint seriously. After I informed her that I will lodge a complaint she got irritated. She rang up my purchase and tried to give me R29 in one rands change. When I stated it was not acceptable she said well its Sunday and this is the money in her till and she wasn't going to get notes from the manager. I gave back the baby product and demanded my note back. When I left the store she relayed to the manager what happened and they laughed. None of the personnel had uniforms on and when you state you will report them they think it is a laughing matter. I have now lodged numerous complaints at the customer service regarding the staff and management of the store and to date not one of my complaints have been answered by their head office. It seems that name and shame on social media is the only way forward.
On the 23rd I wrote a review where dstv was debiting my fathers account without any authorization. Dstv was quick to contact me and I received a very suspicious story about the system doing it on its own. Needless to say they were sorry for the inconvenience and was I informed the money will be refunded within 7 days. 7 days have passed. Even 7 business days have gone by and NO Refund was received. Again empty promises and no service.
My father cancelled his dstv in 2018. At the beginning of the month I realized that dstv has been debiting his account from June 2020. The amount doesn't even stay the same but varies. My father phoned and they stated they will investigate. On the 19th I phoned and was told the query would be escalated. Now today the 23rd still no feedback. No phone call, no email. Query has still not even been looked at. Blatant fraud and corruption as we did not activate any dstv account and yet has now paid a total of R6202.00 I tried phoning yet the staff is unable to help and unable to give any answers. Maybe I should just take legal action and open a case of fraud and theft
