My experience was seamless and painless. To register took just a few easy steps. What I wanted was available, within my price range and I was able to track my order. It was delivered within 24 hours. A great experience all in all.
Dear MFC, if a debit order date falls on a weekend, why do you always move the date to debit my account BACK but never FORWARD? How much do you rake in in additional interest? and then you have the audacity to say 'your financial peace of mind matters to us.' What *******. the only winner here is YOU. this is the last time I'll be financing with you lot.
A brief timeline of pathetic service: 1. Order for a book placed in June 2022. 2. They dragged their feet and I cancelled. 3. Initially I was promised a refund 'within 30 days'. 4. No more responses to my queries for the last 2 months. I would give them a zero-rating but unfortunately you don't provide for it. Woeful, miserable experience. May they rot on the rubbish dump of rubbish businesses.
This company is FAKE! It does not exist. The website and the addresses supplied are FAKE. They disappeared with R90k of our money after we paid them a deposit. the matter is being reported to the SAPS. you better sleep with one eye open 'Glen' or 'Glyn' or whatever your name is. the cops are coming for you.
Looking at some of the reviews on these pages, it is clear to me that others have been scammed by Avis is well. The process is simple: they claim alleged 'damage' (in my case about 5mm 'scratch' nobody without a magnifying glass could have noticed at pick up) to a vehicle after it has been returned and then charge exorbitant amounts in order to 'rectify' it. Despite me emphatically denying any damage caused, declaring a dispute AND sending them photographs they just carried on with there merry ways and debited my credit card with an additional R1,900! I will NEVER use Avis again, not in a 100 years, Not even if they're the last car rental company left on the planet. I would have given them zero stars if I had the option.
The only reason I'm giving one star is because that's the lowest. I'd prefer giving none. Since my application was approved on 14 December there has been NO progress to book a fitting. The customer ‘service’ experience to date has been totally unacceptable. I suppose that’s what happens if you outsource. There is simply no follow-through. I’ve spoken to numerous consultants who all promise but don’t deliver. I’ve tried calling the 010 346 0980 number. Nobody answers. I need the tracking device for my insurance. I will contact the call centre once more and then cancel my contract. If this is how it starts, imagine how it ends.
Thanks to Nic Prelorenzo for great service from start to finish. The whole process from test-drive to delivery took less than a week! Nic also assisted with better finance terms. Can truly recommend these guys.
