Our wifi suddenly stopped working on Wednesday 19 February 2025. I called Capricom the following day and politely requested that they have a technition sent out to repair and or advise us on what to do. The operator logged the call and said a technition will be notified and that I can expect a call soon. Friday several calls later, the same message was given to me still without any feedback or call from a technition. It is now Saturday the 22nd of Februay. I am still patiently awaiting a call from a Capricom tech. The service I received in the past has generally been good. I do expect better service from them as I view myself as a valued and worthy customer.
I attempted to purchase a dog via the internet, during the transaction we suspected the sellers to be fraudulent and contacted ABSA fraud division to assist in getting us back our money. Initially the service was of a high standard and they assisted us very well. It was requested by ABSA that an affidavit had to be acquired from the police which we did, just in time. We tried to follow up several times with the investigator at ABSA to no avail. Every single time I have to hear that I will be called back and nothing has happened since. It is now a month and a half later and still no response. I would love to hear the excuse.
I have tried to cancel my contract when the operator told me that it is not a problem. He explicitly said that my previous wifi contract is cancelled. I later received a message stating that is not cancelled befor getting a call and a messag confirming the cancellation. It has been a week since my initial call and I have not heard from them. My contract is till not cancelled.
My Ford Kuga's engine needed replacing while on holiday in the Northern Cape. After the replacement, the engine kept smoking after switching it on, however soon the smoke would dissipate as the engine warmed up. The problem persists. I took it to the dealership I bought it from and I was told that I needed to pay an additional fee of about R900 to open it up, to see what the problem was after I had paid a fortune of R95 000 to Human Auto in Kimberly. I find it to be daylight robbery and distasteful, to charge me even more money after a brand new engine was put in. Furthermore, I contacted them via an online service number and requested they come in contact with me regarding this problem, however I haven't heard from them since. I feel adamant that Ford should take responsibility and man-up to their poor aftercare service.
Poor and sluggish service. Engine has to be replaced. There seems to be no urgency after I requested it be done quickly as I am from Polokwane and can not spend the holiday season here. They are idly waiting on parts to arrive and not keeping me updated.
