Big **** ! Stay away from the above books as the goods will not be received. I ordered some books at the beginning of February 2025, but to date, no delivery has taken place. They are not even reachable, and they don't respond to emails. I am stuck. A refund was requested, but no response. Stay away, stay away...
I placed an order with Abovebooks in early February 2025. However, the order has not been delivered yet. I tried calling them, but no answer. Sent a number of emails, but the responses are just excuses. The last response that I received is that the suppliers are not delivering... What a joke!!!... I will be hesitant to place any orders with them in the future..
I went to purchase a battery for my Land Rover in one of the Land Rover dealerships and they told me that the warranty for the battery is only six months if it is purchased on the counter. I refused to buy such an expensive battery from them, especially after considering the price and the warranty period. I then approached another prominent battery provider, and I purchased a reliable battery with a 25-month warranty at less than half of the price of Land Rover battery. It is ridiculous how JLR takes advantage of its customers. It seems to me that they don't trust their product.
Land Rover sold me a lemon, KM drove 92000, but the torque and engine are gone. Both of them must be replaced. It seems that one must set aside two cars amount when purchasing this brand as within 100,000 km it gives trouble with its engines. When I was speaking to other Land Rover customers, they stated that they also experienced the same problem. Land Rover was supposed to replace the engine and torque as all the required services on the car were carried out within the stipulated time. The dealership initially stated that the engine would be replaced but Land Rover is refusing to assist as they claimed that one service was delayed. The reason for the rejection that was provided to me was that all services on the car were delayed, therefore it resulted in the current mechanical issues, which is unbelievable, ridiculous, and misleading. The services were in fact performed earlier and all relevant documents were sent to Land Rover South Africa. Dishonesty and poor customer satisfaction will lead this company Nowhere. I don't think I will ever buy a car from this brand. I don't want to have problems in my life. I stay away...

My Dr. requested some tests to be done and I contracted Lancet Laboratories to do the necessary analysis and submit a report to the Dr. After the results were submitted to the Dr, Lancet contacted me by stating that my medical aid did not honor the payment, and the outstanding amount should be paid by me. I requested Lancet to provide me with a statement. Upon receipt of which the payments were made. Later on, I got a notification that I will get a refund and further stated that " kindly forward proof of payments reflecting on a bank statement dated **** showing account holders details, this is per audit requirement as your refund is above R5000.00". I submitted the proof of payment but they insisted on me submitting the bank statement. I strongly believe that it is ******* for them to request my bank statement as proof of payments were submitted to them.
Pelican express do not know what they are doing. I have never seen such an incompetent service from any other service provider apart from Mr Shopper. I ordered baby pampers with Mr Shopper on 27 November, and I got an email from Pelican express stating that my order is being processed, but I still haven’t received my goods. I called them more than 30 times but no one picks the phone. I sent many messages but haven’t received a single reply. I also sent email correspondence, but still no response. I am planning to take legal action against these two companies. These companies don’t know customer service and they offer pathetic and incompetent ‘services to customers. I wonder how these companies make money and remain in business with such a pathetic track record. They must learn their trade first. Please be careful.
If you are planning to buy anything from Mr Shopper, please be careful. I placed an order for baby pampers on 27 November 2020 and I am still waiting for the goods. I have sent emails but haven’t received any responses from the company. I tried to call more than 10 times but they keep you waited for a long time stating that my queue number was x... when I reached in front of the queue, they don’t pick the phones. I have never seen such a poor service from any company. It is the poorest. Please be careful and think twice before you place an order with this company.
