Is Telkom bankrupt??? I've been trying to apply for a new laptop contract and nobody calls back. They have excuses all the time, there's no stock, network is down, etc. I've never seen agents try so hard to not make a new sale. There's nobody we can complain to. There's nobody who can assist. So what do we do in this case Telkom?
Dear Discovery Please find Chadwin of your new sales team, applaud him and give him a well deserved raise. Its because of employees like him that clients like me stay. I called in last week amidst the chaos that was happening in Durban, needing to cancel my insurance policy. I was super glad when I got through to Chad as he was the one who signed me up in the first place. I explained to Chad that I'm taking the risk of cancelling my insurance so that I could use the monies to help friends with groceries for the next few months until they get back onto their feet. Chad took it upon himself to assist by making a small donation. I was in complete shock that good people actually do still exist. Although, I wasn't happy about accepting this as right now everyone is going through their own struggles and lockdown has taught us that every cent counts. I emailed Chad asking for him to contact me so that I can return the monies to him and when he didn't I eventually gave it to a family that really needed it. They were extremely touched and grateful when I explained what Chad had done. The family sends many thanks and blessings to Chad for assisting them during this tough time. When all of this is over I am definitely going to contact Chad so I can sign up with Discovery again. Thank you Chad for your kindness. Discovery, make sure you're taking care of employees like this because they're taking care of you. ?
Identity in Mega city, Umlazi.... Visited the store today and witnessed a customer walk in without sanitizing. I asked the cashier about this as I'm employed at dept of health and its concerning to find that a store as big as identity which is part of Truworths not following proper Covid-19 regulations. I was ignored by her and given a bad attitude. When I told her I was there to make payment toward my account she ignored me and continued setting up her till. Annoyed, I walked out. I am appalled by Identity's pathetic customer service and negligence in a time like this. Imagine being ignored by a cashier when you go to pay your account! Is this how you treat your customers Identity? Well done on losing a good customer. As soon as I do make payment I'm closing my account. I won't shop at a store that puts me and my child at risk and has a bad attitude about it when being called out.
The customer service at Hitech safety Glass is absolutely pathetic. I have a business that requires me to constantly be purchasing mirrors and glass for the goods I supply. I found that upon placing and paying for an order, nobody calls me back to follow up. Everytime I call in the sales agent is always busy and can't take my call. He never calls me back when I ask him to. Recently I tried calling him to find out about my delivery, he wasn't at his desk and so the other staff members there let the phone ring continuously instead of answering and notifying the client that the sales agent is not available. When I called back I spoke to a lady by the name of Ronell she didn't know how to handle me as a frustrated client and eventually cut the call on me. Delivery of the mirrors I purchased from them was supposed to be done yesterday, 16 March 2021, to my clients house. My client stayed home expecting Hitech to deliver and again they let me down by not delivering. They wasted my clients time as she cancelled all other plans to sit at home expecting Hitech to deliver. Not only did they not deliver but they also failed to call me and notify me that they aren't delivering. Is this how a professional company was supposed to treat their clients? I spoke to their sales manager and even after speaking to him nothing was done. Customer service still sucks
Hats off to Willie Scholtz and Brandon Pillay from Discovery Emergency Response call center, for the excellent customer service they provided me last week when I needed my vehicle to be towed. Where most insurance companies don't really bother after a first call, both these kind gentlemen called me a few times to make sure everything had been sorted out and that I was fine. That's the type of client service that will keep clients like myself loyal to discovery. Thanks again guys for the assistance and phone calls. There needs to be more customer care agents like you guys.
Dear Samsung I would like to give acknowledgement and great THANKS to your customer service agent, COMFORT from your call center in Midrand. Comfort promptly contacted me in the time he said he would to assist me with a technical issue I was experiencing with my Samsung home theater system. He went through every trouble shooting method he possibly could with me until we found and resolved the fault. Not only did he do this with a happy heart but he was also so kind and patient with me. I was furious when I first started the call with him because in the past I've had terrible customer service from Samsung South Africa. I am a loyal client of Samsung and if I purchase any Samsung products after this it's only because of the excellent service Comfort has provided me this evening. The phone call started at around 7pm and even though it went past his knock off time, comfort was patient. He didn't rush the call just so he could go home and most importantly he helped me resolve my issue. I personally think that Comfort should be an example to other customer service agents on how they should carry out themselves when dealing with an angry client.
