As mentioned in another post, Payflex have introduced a biometric verification process which (believe it or not) requires you to smile and show your teeth. Currently having orthodontic work done so this is currently not an option. There appears to be no work-around and their customer support is a joke so bye, bye Payflex.
Hellopeter has just removed a review calling out a company for 'bad business practices'. The content cannot be deemed defamatory and/or libelous in any way - just stated the facts. Seems like criticizing poor/suspect service delivery is no longer considered a valid reason for posting on this site.
I would caution anybody attempting to transact with this company based in Sandton, Gauteng province. On the 2024-12-04 I purchased a Lithium battery charger from this seller at a slight discount from what other outlets were advertising. Payment was via EFT (the only payment method offered) and confirmation of my purchase was made the following day. Receiving no further feedback on the status of my order I attempted to contact the seller via voice call, email and website. No one answers their contact number and there has been no response to my emails or online queries. There was no indication that the seller was anything but genuine - i.e. no excessively discounted prices, poorly designed webpage, etc. Attempting to retrieve funds after paying via EFT becomes a real mission so my New Years resolution is not to deal with any company (however attractive their pricing may be) that does not offer alternative payments options - unless I have previously and successfully interacted with the business.
Recently purchased a re-furbished (Grade A) Dell laptop from this seller. Excellent pricing, good feedback on order status and extremely well packaged for courier delivery. It even came with a new wireless mouse and surge adaptor - which was unexpected. Highly recommend this company as when they state a product is a Grade A refurbishment it really is. Apart from some slight scuff marks it would be hard to tell that the product is (in fact) second hand. The laptop came pre-loaded with Windows 11, spec'd as stated on their website and has performed flawlessly to date.

I recently upgraded my mobile phone package which involved obtaining a new SIM card. Prior to delivery I was informed that, as part of the delivery authentication process, the courier would now be required to take my fingerprints. Well, the courier duly arrived but his cellphone scanner was unable to read my thumbprints. Even though I had all the usual support documentation, the courier stated he was not at liberty to hand over the package. My question to MTN is why do they not have an immediate back-up plan in cases such as this? Currently no feed-back from MTN as to how they intend to resolve this issue.
In the past I have had pretty good service from this logistics provider. Usually delivered within the specified time-frame and no lost packages. Recently, however, their local operation appears to be a shambles. An example: After a failed delivery on 2024-05-24 I managed to contact their customer support team to arrange delivery by 2024-05-31. This did not happen and I then received an automated text to reschedule. Delivery was then scheduled for this past Monday but (yet again) there has been no delivery and (to date) there has been no feedback from customer services since my original contact. Emails have gone unanswered. Maybe, since teaming up with Temu, they just can't accommodate the increased volume of deliveries? Some other posters state that Buffalo are sub-contracting their deliveries to other companies but this does not appear to have happened in my case. Returns must be a nightmare given that they can't even get their deliveries up to speed.
Thought I would share some thoughts with respect to my first shopping experience with Temu Online. Positives: Excellent pricing for what I purchased. Easy online purchase transaction. Reasonable delivery time-frame to SA - given that the items were sourced ex. PRC. Free delivery due to 1st time purchase. Reasonable feedback on status of order. Negatives: Pricing excludes all customs and related duties. Not unexpected but maybe could be more clearly highlighted? Payment procedure was, however, easy to complete. Their logistics partner (Buffalo Logistics) appears to be a complete shambles when things go belly up - as is currently the case with my order and which I have yet to receive. This issue (however) will be the subject of a separate review. Maybe being a little harsh with my rating but until I actually receive the items I ordered they will be my first port of call.
First time online purchase from this seller. Quick response when I needed some technical information on their product line-up. Reasonable pricing and delivery time-frame. Highly recommended.
First time I have made an online purchase from this seller. Reasonable pricing and excellent delivery time-frame. Ordered late Wednesday evening and received item early Thursday afternoon. Highly recommended.
