Having previously worked as the responsible pharmacist for an online pharmacy, I can confidently say this was truly outstanding and efficient service. Highly recommended!
Where do I even begin with my horrific experience with MWEB? It has been an absolute nightmare from the moment we decided to give them a chance. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company if you value your sanity, time, and hard-earned money. Firstly, we made the mistake of cancelling our application with MWEB right after it was made. We even confirmed the cancellation multiple times over the phone, believing that our request was being acknowledged. Little did we know that MWEB’s idea of “cancellation” is to proceed with the installation anyway, as if our wishes meant absolutely nothing. To our disbelief, a group of their technicians arrived at our house unannounced, only to find out that our gardener had inadvertently let them in. They shamelessly proceeded to install the line without our consent or authorization. When confronted about this flagrant breach of trust, MWEB had the audacity to deny any responsibility and insisted that our application had been cancelled and that they are not occupying our line. We decided to explore other internet service providers, only to discover that our line was indeed occupied. It took hours of frustrating phone calls to uncover the truth: MWEB was indeed the culprit occupying our line without permission. Days of frustrating phone calls ensued, with MWEB shamelessly refusing to release our line unless we paid for an installation we never requested. Remember, we had canceled days before and received multiple confirmations that our application was indeed canceled and that they are not occupying our line. But apparently, MWEB operates in an alternate reality where customer requests mean absolutely nothing. Instead of rectifying their mistakes and offering a genuine apology, MWEB decided to hold our line hostage. They shamelessly demanded payment for the installation we did not request or authorize in the first place. It is beyond comprehension how a company can operate with such blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices. Due to my work-from-home situation, I reluctantly decided to stick with MWEB, as I had no other immediate alternative. However, this decision came at a significant cost. MWEB’s incompetence and blatant lies resulted in me losing over 25% of my monthly salary. I cannot stress enough the financial burden this has placed on me and my family, all due to their sheer incompetence and dishonesty. Promises mean absolutely nothing to MWEB. Yesterday, they assured us that we would receive our router, only to let us down once again. They promised we will have our rooter by today. Today, after waiting anxiously at home all day, we were informed that our router is mysteriously located in Durban (we are in Johannesburg). The level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic organizational skills displayed by MWEB is mind-boggling. In conclusion, MWEB is a prime example of how a company can fail at every level. Their customer service is abysmal, their communication is nonexistent, and their actions are downright *********. I implore anyone reading this review to avoid MWEB at all costs. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and financial burden that comes with dealing with this inept and dishonest company. If you value your sanity and dignity, I implore you to steer clear of MWEB. Trust me, any alternative will be a vast improvement over this nightmare of a company. Save yourself the agony and find an internet service provider that actually values its customers and provides the service they promise. MWEB has earned the dubious distinction of being the worst internet service provider in existence, and I wouldn't wish their abysmal service on my worst enemy.
Changed my address even though I CLEARLY stated only to change it from 1 May. Now my cost is up and I have been holding for more than 40 minutes to change it back.
Cancellled my vitality membership but did not get my cash back for my active months. They say it is because I cancelled. Pathetic. what is the point of itality then???
Horrible customer service. Wont be supporting truly good food again. You would think after covid they need business.
I am very disappointed. I booked for my fiancé’s birthday a month ago. We got to the table and we ordered wine about 10 mins after arriving. We waited for service but no one came to help. We poured out own wine. More than 30 minutes later our waiter arrived and we wanted to order the 5 course menu. Then they told us there is not enough time left for the menu. I am really disappointed. I really wanted this night to be special. Now we have to leave without food.
