I am writing this review once again to express my absolute shock, anger, and deep disappointment as a very long-standing OUTsurance Pet Insurance client. I have been with OUTsurance Pet Insurance for over five years, during which time I have referred many people, spoken highly of the company, and encouraged others to insure their pets with OUTsurance. Many of those referrals did take out policies based on my positive experiences. This makes my current situation even more distressing. I am utterly disappointed to learn that my pet’s insurance premium for 2026 has been more than doubled compared to 2025. This increase is completely outrageous, unfair, and inaccurate. During 2025, my fur baby only claimed four times, and in most cases I personally covered a large portion of the costs through excess payments. Despite this, I was not informed toward the end of 2025 that my premium would potentially be “very high” for 2026 — which I now find unreasonable and absolutely unacceptable. This drastic increase has created the perception that OUTsurance Pet Insurance is no longer budget-friendly or affordable, which is deeply concerning for a company that advertises care, support, and peace of mind for pet owners. Pet insurance is meant to ease financial stress, not create it. As a loyal client of many years, I feel disrespected and unappreciated. I want to be very clear that I will not be paying this premium under any circumstances. I have already explored other pet insurance providers and found far more reasonable, affordable options that offer competitive and fair benefits. What upsets me most is the timing and the principle behind this increase. It is Christmas — a time meant for family, peace, and celebration — yet this decision has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I know several other clients who have experienced similar premium increases but were handled with care, understanding, and genuine concern to retain them as part of the OUTsurance family. I sincerely hope the same consideration will be extended to me. At present, this situation makes it feel as though profit is being prioritised over genuine care for pets and loyal clients, which directly contradicts what OUTsurance stands for and advertises. Unless this matter is addressed urgently and fairly , I will regrettably be forced to remove my fur baby from this insurance. As pet owners, we want to provide the best possible care for our animals — but this becomes impossible when prices are unreasonably high. I am frustrated, disappointed, and deeply angered that after years of loyalty and referrals, this is how I have been made to feel.
Approximately a week ago, during a period when your app was experiencing technical issues, I placed an order which was subsequently canceled. However, I was charged twice for that single order. Despite reaching out to multiple agents, I received very little help. Only one of the two payments was refunded. The second amount remains unreturned. After numerous follow-ups via email, I was advised to contact my bank. My bank confirmed that the funds are still with Mr D, and all that is needed is a formal document or authorization from Mr D to proceed with a reversal. Shockingly, Mr D has refused to provide this, leaving me out of pocket for a mistake that was entirely on your side. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable. I am appalled by the lack of accountability and support. I expected far better from a company of your stature. I sincerely hope this complaint will raise red flags internally and that someone responsible will finally take action. I demand an immediate resolution and a full refund of the outstanding amount.
i have been trying for hours to get a hold of at lease one agent to assist with me canceling my medical aid with DISCOVERY HEALTH but no one seems to give or show any assistance. After realizing that getting any help from agents of customer care itself, i have decided to cancel my policy as their services are over rated and they do not fulfill their promise to their clients. I have tried multiple numbers and multiple departments but no one helps and agents drop my call. This is unprofessional and extremely unhelpful. To discovery if you are reading this if no agent calls back as requested, i will block you from debiting me as no one is helping me and you can take that as cancellation of my policy!
Absolutely disappointed and appalled with the pathetic services from Netflorist. A a loyal customer I am utterly disgusted with the treatment and priority shown. I had placed an order IN ADVANCE for a very important individual as it was their birthday and was told BY RENE BALOYI from NETFLORIST on the day for delivery and the individual's birthday that there is a delay! I am furious as it is a very important gifting for someone very important to me. HOW CAN YOU TELL YOUR CLIENT ON THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE BIRTHDAY THAT YOU CANNOT FUFULL YOUR PROMISE?? This is absolutely absurd and unprofessional services. I WILL NEVER AGAIN DO BSUINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS IT IS THE SECOND TIME HAVING SUCH AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE! What they advertise and what they actually really do is deceiving and pathetic. Given that it is December they should have ensured that there are plenty of staff and drivers available! I am in disbelief of such a situation on the day of the recipient's birthday. I am still awaiting feedback from RENE, i tried calling no answer! Unbelievable!
I am utterly disgusted with the services from DISCOVERY HEALTH! After asking to be called back after over 2 months of trying to resolve an urgent health procedure no one has taken the responsibility to do so, they show absolutely no CARE OR CONCERN! An agent from Discovery misunderstood a conversation with my partner and listed it as a pre existing health issue when he has NONE! After calling back and forth something so simple was still not attended to! I CALLED AN AGENT AND ASKED THEM TO CALL HIM TO RESOLVE THIS AND SHE AGREED TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL BACK- When they did call back they called in connection with vitality! How ***********! My partner needs to undergo an urgent in hospital procedure and no one is assisting or trying to speed up the process. This is absolutely sad to know the manner in which they handle clients! I am awaiting a call from the authorization dept, and yet no one has called me to update me and his health is of importance but DISCOVERY HEALTH simply doesn't care! My partner has been with Discovery for almost A YEAR which is 12 months and has updated his cover since SEPTEMBER 2024, please explain why this shouldn't be covered! When upgrading his medical aid- he was told that there are NO WAITING PERIODS JUST AN UPGRADE. This is very upsetting and i am beyond angered with these services.
I am disgusted and infuriated with the pathetic and *********** services provided by DISCOVERY MEDICAL AID!!! My fiancé who has been on this medical aid from January to date has been declined to do a crucial procedure in hospital yet the medical aid plan that he is currently on covers what's needed to be done. Even after speaking to an agent and was told that this is covered, his pre-authorization has been declined leaving even his specialists confused. There has been complaints made to discovery by myself and my partner for over a month concerning a benefit needing to be activated as it was in use and to date we have no response. I am appalled with the customer service and especially about different agents giving us extremely different feedbacks. We will be taking legal action as this is a fault of DISCOVERY AND THIS IS NEGLIGENCE on their side which is resulting in my partners health being compromised. NO AGENT MENTIONED that this will not be covered we were assured by them that all is in order. DISCOVERY and their staff involved in this situation is responsible for not following up as requested to activate this benefit even though multiple calls were made. My partner is in intense pain even medication does not assist and is needed to do this procedure as medically advised and DISCOVERY shows no empathy, no care to even return my call on this matter. We will be terminating this policy in due time as we are disgusted with the putrid care shown in a critical situation as such!
Pathetic customer service from Affinity health As a client reaching out and wanting Affinity health to be my health insurer, was nothing but a back and forth and stressful experience indeed. I was in the process of signing up as a happy client with this health insurer however concluded in having a stressful, tedious and misinformed experience. As a client its imperative that we ask questions concerning health and procedures covered when signing up with any medical aid/health insurer. As i did this to broaden my knowledge on this company i was on numerous calls with agents and management as they misunderstood my conversation purely based on assumption and decided to put me on a waiting period of 12 months! I had no idea that asking questions based on dentistry would result in their QA dept diagnosing me with a pre existing condition with absolutely NO medical records or evidence to prove this. I was told the different waiting periods for different benefits and was pleased with it. After requesting to be called over and over again, i kept getting different versions of the waiting periods only to result in knowing the waiting periods explained were false and incorrect! As a client eager to jump onto a health insurance this was a frustrating and tedious experience! If i had not asked to be called back i would have had false information on my cover as they debited me but did not meet the cover explained! I am to this point, angry and infuriated as this is absolutely ********* and unprofessional!

I am disgusted by the incompetence of of DISCOVERY HEALTH and the misuse of information given to me as a client who is trying to recover from a stressful and painful ordeal. I am a new member on DISCOVERY HEALTH medical aid and am aware of all benefits on my chosen medical scheme. After my GP has tried time and time again to activate a benefit with Discovery health they constantly found no success. We have called over 15 times to discovery and even tried contacting them via the app but no agent from numerous departments were able to assist. The agents sound like they lack knowledge and we're unable to answer questions asked or advice needed or conclude with the given issue. If I had known paying such highly premiums per month but In return get such pathetic, stressful and *********** service i would have never chosen this medical aid. I advise anyone reading this review to not go forward with discovery health as it is a runa round to get any assistance especially when you as a client is stressed and recovering .
