I came to the conservatory for lunch with my husband - we arrived hungry and we left hungry as the food we got served there was ultimately inedible for us - we sent our cold starters back to the kitchen (no one tells you that every starter is cold so we found ourselves served cold duck breast) and we sent our mains back to the kitchen. We didn't drive an hour out of the city to a 5 star resort with the expectation of fine dining quality to be served sub-par food. The restaurant does not have a proper chef and it shows - the menu makes no sense and they're serving a cheap selection of foods for a fine dining place - e.g. porterhouse steak - fail for a 5 star menu. everything was bad, very disappointed pointed - if they don't invest in a good chef then ppl will stop going back. they couldn't even cook a burger medium-rare, served us a bland risotto with unseasoned chicken that looked boiled. no good at all, at all
This company is a ****. They've put **** pictures on their website to try and look legit. We hired them to take our furniture from Gauteng to KZN - it was a Saturday pickup and supposed to be shipped to KZN on Sunday as per their schedule. Instead of delivering our goods, they kept them in their very shabby warehouse and kept giving us stories instead of delivering our stuff. When we called them to find out what's going on - they actually just **** and said our good were being loaded into their delivery truck - which wasn't even there. We ended up having to go physically see their warehouse to check for our things - it is shabby and very badly maintained and managed - just a disaster. Then they change their story that their delivery truck is in the western cape and they can't deliver. Extremely unprofessional service. There were other clients there who went to their warehouse, who were also extremely fed up with the non-delivery of their goods. People ended up taking their stuff back, as did we. Whole lot of hassle, no honesty, no professionalism - don't expect for this company to deliver anything of yours.
the internet speed is not as fast as i had expected from a fibre line. was disappointed in that - lagging is an issue, one that's seemingly unresolvable.
This is supposed to be an events company. But the owner, Lwando, actually just specialises in doing balloon set up and balloon decorations - she wont actually be able to deliver a high end, well styled event for you. We learned the hard way, lacks attention to detail and professionalism - and if you want a decent event and will be paying a premium for it - this is not the company. She’ll get your colours wrong, set up in the wrong place, shoddy attitude from the staff and the owner actually takes no accountability for issues - she’ll say it’s the staff or the suppliers etc. And as a paying customer - none of that stuff is your concern, the very reason you pay a person like her is so that she can manage it all. We were highly dissapointed, she wasted our time coming to look at our house and talked about planning how things would be set up - on the day she did something completely different to what we had very specifically required, the quality of her equipment was bad - she shorted us on agreed upon equipment like big dining tables and brought cheap alternatives instead, she didnt bring plates she said she would and her staff left all the seating to get wet in a few minutes of rain the afternoon of our even when they couldve very easily moved all the chairs out of the rain. Bcos the rain stopped, sun came back out and we needed to sit outside, and she brought dying flowers - so unforgivable & the flowers werent cheap. This is as good as scamming people! Poor service, no professionalism, lack of attention to detail. If u want your even to be seamless and beautiful and all the details you requested in place - this is not the company to do that. At all. Theyre fine for small things and some balloon decorations but not a big event with a sizeable price tag.
This is a premium hair salon in bryanston. I went there to undo braids. The stylist was negligent and chopped off parts of my hair as she was taking out the braids with scissors. It boiled down to her not paying attention to the detailed work she was doing and giving the required care for the service - she kept watching tv and having chats with other people - This is a problem if it affects the quality of work and results in damage to the customer. Which it did for me. The salons response when i contacted them about mu hair having been chopped off in parts was not respectful or apologetic - instead they tried to suggest that it was normal breakage. How patronising. Theres a clear difference between natural breakage after taking out braids and huge inches of your hair being taken off. This experience is particularly upsetting because I came to this salon very specifically for a quality level of professionalism & didn’t expect that there could be an issue in taking out my style. I also paid the premium they charge for this. In my entire life i have never had my hair chopped off like this at a salon. Unforgivable. Regrettable the level of customer care when there is a complaint. If you’re a high end salon - you dont get to make these mistakes. Period.
I had an initial bad experience with some items I had ordered from the site. I've now removed my negative rating and am giving this company full points for customer service. the owner phoned and explained the situation they had with their supplier - I was given clarity on the problem and why it happened and how they had resolved it - they also fixed the product information on their website and dropped one of their 'bad' suppliers. They've really gone above and beyond to make sure that in the end I was happy as their customer - they refunded the goods I did not like as well. In my books this is excellent - to follow up with your customer and make sure their relationship with your brand remains in tact - and I can happily say mine has. The most important aspect an online retailer can't fail on is trust and KingOnline has definitely proved themselves to be trustworthy - I'll be happy to buy from them again in future and I won't even worry about anything! I ordered a cotton beanie - they sent me wool beanie. Nothing like the picture online. And its oversized. I also ordered a hair satin bonnet - its very bad quality and not even satin lined inside - which defeats the purpose of a satin bonnet. I also had an absolute headache trying to even pick up my order - u can pick up your order at a store in bryanston - they were never open whenever i went - even though trading hours stated theyd be open on the website - had no communication from kingonline about this. Honestly this has been the worst online buying experience & i just cant believe it - like in this day and age. I even opened a hellopeter account just for this so that i can warn other people! This company misrepresented its products online and sent me such bogus things. I’ll come back to comment here if they manage to assist me with resolving this problem. Just nothing upsets so much as when an online retailer disrespects its customers - when u lie about what u put on your website & make people think theyre buying something but then its not at all what u actually send them... Literally the worst thing for an online retailer to do. But wow this made me mad - i do not recommend this store!
