The most frustrating experience. just trying to reach a human being to discuss the issue with, I'm currently on WhatsApp chat with a guy but its hellova frustrating and he won't let me email him. and the help dstv email bounces and i have to go painfully though the issue with him and I've just gone full circle and had to explain that i need to email documents to him
Shocking customer service. no replies to emails when all i need is to repair faulty zips to my 2 tents which are not old but out of warranty. both with the same fault.
Beware of promises made by telemarketers from Cell C. they call, then you agree on a phone and package - and have to verbally agree over the phone to the term and conditions. then when the phone doesn't arrive and you eventually call THEM, they say the contract was cancelled cos they couldn't reach you with the courier. I was told after 1 attempt to not reach me by one agent, then i was told 3 attempts by another agent. the thing is, that reason for cancelling the contract is NOT in the terms and conditions which they email you after the call. How can a contract be cancelled when it is out of your hands - all about a courier reaching or not reaching one, and that this reason for cancelling is not made explicit in the telephone call when they secure the sale. I cant reach a human being who can be helpful - it is all beyond the call centre pawns and i cant get it escalated. i sent an email, the receipt was acknowledged and then NOTHING happened for a while. then a few weeks later i receive a series of smses saying my upgrade has been successful. i think oh goodie they have heard me - no luck, they took it upon themselves to put me onto a sim only contract for 2 years...i only find this out when i phone in to ask why i havent received my device yet 9i had emailed to give them the address i would be at). this is shocking, passed from retentions, to deliveries, to support and all over the place with nobody having the power to really assist me and give me what i contractually agreed to over the black friday period. i will never take out another contract with Cell c and will discourage all i meet. their customer care is SHOCKING and hellova frustrating.
Never buy online from Makro their customer Care is terrible and they do not honour their terms and conditions. its a simple return process and yet it has taken 3 weeks and STILL they have not collected the item. Pathetic!
poor service, poor aftersales support when warranty is up - planned obsolescence is suspected. watch just goes blank even when charged. wont do anything for 4 days then if you charge it again it'll change and give you about 4 days of working before it goes blank. pathetic. they have stopped making the model but havent recalled the product either! product was 2 years old at the time it started laying up!!!!
