3 weeks ago I had been ****** for all my most sentimental jewels. I was devastated and not in a good space after the incident. Thankfully my items was insured with king price insurance. The assessor Ronald Pillay not only displayed professionalism throughout the claim but also empathy. He made the process a million times easier. I never had to call for an update because it was done timeously by him. In a matter of a week he had processed my claim. Making my life alittle easier and allowing me the chance to get my items replaced. Thank you King price for never failing me I will continue to refer yourl to anyone and everyone I know. It's the only insurance that doesn't give you problems when it comes to paying out. Been with them for 10years and won't change to anyone else.
I placed an order on the 14/12/23 for Christmas gifts for family. There was a delay has the gifts where coming from different warehouses. The app said that it would be delivered on the 21/12/23. But on the 20/12/23 at about 5pm i received a message to say my order was collected at 4pm. I was confused because i was at work and didn't even receive a message from takealot to say the parcel was ready for collection but im now receiving a message to say it was collected. So out of concern about where my parcel is, as soon as i got home from work at about 17h45 i called the takealot help centre. There is nothing more frustrating than this "help centre" , it took more than 1 and a half hour just to get through, finally when i did, i spoke to Nadia Den and explained my dilemma to her who verbalized that she was going to escalate the matter and get back to me. Till now im waiting for feedback!!!. I decided to go to the pick up point which was the Chatsworth branch i selected to find out what is going on. When i get there, no one is at the front desk and neither where there any one else collecting any parcels at the time. Eventually after pressing the bell again a male came out to assist. I explained what happened and he said he is going to speak to his manager to see if she is aware of the problem as i asked for video footage to see if anyone/ who collected my parcel or who was given the wrong parcel. When he came back he brought 3 boxes which all seemed to have my name on it and then said there was a glitch in the system. A sigh of relief that was for me as these where gifts to people. I took the parcels to the car and decided to open them. Upon doing that i found that one item was missing. It was a diamante cubic zirconia earrings. I had ordered 2 sets. But there was one gold pouch with a 2 plastic sealable bags with the description of the item stick on the packets. Inside one of the packets was a smaller resealable packet with one set of the earrings. The second one was completely empty. I opened the other 2 boxes and found nothing! So i went back to the pick up point and took the whole 3 boxes to show them that one of my items where missing. The guy at the front said i should log a return for the items and state it was missing, i told him its a earring its non returnable and this very same package according to the app was picked up by someone else the previous day. The manager Maxene was then called who said the same thing. So i asked her please show me how the return is possible because its not even an option on the app. She then said that she will do so manually. I asked her how will i get an update, she verbalized that she will inform me again till now not a single call or email was sent to update me or give me a reference number so i can update myself. This really is pathetic service from such a widely used app. I order from Shein which is international and i dont even experience such problems. I will not recommend this app to anyone ever again as you will not only be left with problems but also no one from the takealot team is helpful in assisting with problems
Pathetic service delivery!! Will never recommend this agency for anything. I was looking for a flat to rent in the same complex that i stayed in and i came across one by this agency i contacted the agent Penny Rampirith regarding the flat on the same day it was listed. I viewed the flat the next day at no point did she verbalize that the flat was also up for sale. I then told her that i would let her know by that night if i would take it and my husband and i did confirm around 9pm that we will take the flat on the 1st of june. We then called her around the 2nd week of May to ask her if we could move in a week earlier and pay the difference, which she also agreed too. On the 22th of May when we called Penny she said that they where busy drawing up the lease agreement and would give it to us on the 23/5/23 as we where scheduled to move on the 24/5/23. On the 23/5/23 when my husband called to find out about the key, Penny had asked him to come to pinetown to fetch the keys and when he goes there she said that apparently the property is now under offer. That is such disrespect and disregard to us as none of this was communicated until the day before moving. Furthermore its 8days before my current lease expires and im stuck looking for a place at the last minute! Ive dealt with many estate agents but none was unprofessional as this!
Ordered a meal from swaadisht at the chatsworth centre and chose the option of to the door delivery. When the driver arrived with the meal he phoned and stated that the security guard is not allowing him with his s****** to come to the block i stay in and that it is too far for him to walk to the door and that he cant wait and his going to leave it with the security. I tried to explain to the driver thats not how it works and all the other deliveries where brought to my door. The driver was arrogant and rude and told me to either pick it up from the security or cancel my order. So out of anger and obviously hunger i asked him to take it back to the store. After about 15mins of trying to get a hold of the driver, which was to no avail and there is no proper way of connecting to the drive except through the app, i called the stored and asked if the food was returned so that i could make arrangements of fetching it, only to be told that once its taken by th uber driver they dont deal with the issues to follow and that i should contact uber to query where does my food go since its already been paid for. So i tried contacting uber driver via the app and the driver answers and said he is in shallcross and cuts the call. Their after the option to call the driver via the app was gone and basically now im without food that i already paid for and theres no way of finding out where its gone!!!
My epc light came on in my car in the last week of May 2021. I had booked the car with barons for the 3th of June as that was the only date available, and which literally took me from 07h30-12h30 to get done as the only person who does the booking was apparently busy. Even though im a health care front line worker is still able to take the time and make the call. Barons is too busy to answer their calls. The car went in on the 3rd of june 2021. My service advisor Mr yogen Naidoo explained all the necessary steps and that id be contacted once the problem was diagnosed. I later on got a call from Mr Naidoo to state that the sparks plug needed to be changed and asked me if i wanted to go ahead with it. I dont know much about cars but from the knowledge i know i felt that to be very strange. As my car went in for a service to Barons Durban in September 2020 with a mileage of about 76000km and they did a major service on the car and claimed to have changed the sparks plug at that service and i was charged R1600 for the plugs. Now in June 2021 when my mileage is 81500kms the spark plugs is gone...... as irritated as i was i decided to just let it be as i needed my car for work as its my only form of transportation. So agreed for Barons to go ahead and i was charged R2600 for the change of sparks plug which was clearly not changed at the service but i was charged for it. This clearly shows how deceitful Barons is. I will never refer anyone to go there. One would think sending your car to the agents is best but they are a complete waste of time and money. I would rather give the job to an rmi approved place!!
