Exemplary service received yesterday from the Outsurance Team with annual my review call.
We bought a brand new Samsung TV : 70"TU7000UHD4K on the 5th November 2020 for R15999.00, after just 19 months on the 23/6/22 the Front Panel had to be replaced which was covered by the Warranty, we are retired pensioners who look after our things & don't spend excessive time watching this TV which is in our lounge. On the 23rd April 2024 the same issue occurred with the front tv panel not generating a picture as confirmed by Golden Mile Electronics a partner of Outsurance our insurance company, only 22months after being replaced, very disappointing & frustrating, as this was a "factory fault " which Samsung later acknowledged with this model we bought. Insurance won't cover a technical issue with the TV for understandable reasons, so the onus was ours & Samsung were missing in action when we needed them most, global company, massive brand but clearly only in it for the profitability & not interested in their customers, disgruntled & disgusted to put it mildly, will definitely not be voting for Samsung with my next appliance purchase thats for sure!!
