I sincerely and honestly sent RAM from pillar to post recently, changing delivery addresses twice and demanding early delivery twice. They were turned away by a security guard and tried again. The customer care centre sailed through the process like champions and were super helpful, every time promising to try their best and succeeding every time. To cut a long story short, the student got his precious package in time to meet his deadlines. I will use RAM again!
I'm sitting here reading others' reviews of Discovery Bank and the only thing I can think of to say is that they are either doing something wrong, or people who are happy with Discovery Bank, are not reviewing the bank. I have been banking with Discovery now for two to three years and I'm super happy and satisfied. I hate bank queues. I actually hate all queues... I love being able to call or message my bank and get results immediately. I have never had to get into any kind of queue (not even a call centre queue) to speak to my banker. I just got off a WhatsApp chat with Thabo. My query was resolved so fast! I have misplaced my bank card and just wanted to know how old the card is because Discovery gives a free replacement every 12 months. Oh and by the way, I was able to PAUSE my card and not completely block it, so as soon as I find the card, I will be able to just continue on down the road with my banking with no hassles. This bank keeps reinventing itself. I'm really sorry for those who struggle. I think it's the best bank in South Africa.

I LOVE Discovery Insure for various reasons, but mainly because when you want to claim, there's no "yada yada". Just service. Snap and save used to be such a fun way of making a couple of extra bucks! Everyone in the household was in trouble if they threw away till slips. Now we can't be bothered anymore. Just like other reviewers here, us loyal snappers have begun experiencing trouble with audits and payouts not happening and the excuses on e-mail from Sharna W at the cashout desk doesn't really help. Now I wanted to cash out my last few Rands to delete the app and I'm told "You have to snap some coupons before you cash out for the first time". Heck, I've been snapping and cashing out for years! Taking my energy elsewhere.
How do you give a star to a business that doesn't deserve a star but rather a visit from the NCR??? JUST STAY AWAY FROM ACU!!! That's all you need to know.
