I don't Know how people can rate this store or online Merchant!! I placed an order on the 3rd of February 2026 it's now 3rd March 2026 still no order, everytime I WhatsApp them because you can't call them which I think is absolute BS! You wait forever to get a single response, then on top of that they don't even understand English because you will ask a question they give an answer not relating to you question then you ask again and they answer with the same answer previously. They haven't kept me in the loop about my order I have to keep contacting them and then have to wait for a BS Answer! I am currently sending documents to CPA, Competitions Commission and the ombudsman for investigation luckily I have someone at the Ombuds that can fast-track this so they will be hearing from me with a couple of representatives they don't want in their lives!
I placed my order on the 14th of January and should have been delivered on the 17th of January. I called takealot on the 18th for them to tell me my order was damaged in transit. I never received any update or info regarding this but I'm the one who has to call! takealot is Unprofessional and the staff have no care or regard of its customers! I called them again later of the 18th because when they say I'll call you back they never do this is why service in this country is disgusting, anyway they then tell me the order has been re-placed. I explain to them that this is a gift for someone and I need it by Saturday the 20th and plus the item is in stock in Cape Town, when I look on the app now it says delivery on Monday 22nd January! I paid for quick delivery I never selected a 4 day delivery so now I must wait 7 days and provide a gift late!! absolutely Pathetic service, ********* business practice from Takealot All I will say is this: TAKEALOT I CAN'T WAIT FOR AMAZON SA BECAUSE IM TAKING MY BUSINESS TO THEM AND I WILL NEVER BE SHOPPING WITH TAKEALOT AGAIN. I HOPE TO SEE TAKEALOT CLOSE DOWN OR SUFFER SO BADLY, MAYBE THEN YOU'LL REALISE WHY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO IMPORTANT!! THE CEO (MAMONGAE MAHLARE) OF THIS COMPANY IS A CLOWN AND I'LL SAY IT TO HER FACE. but you know nothing of customer service all you're chasing is money to fill your pockets (Typical) and destroying what someone else built
Toad on the road Westlake!!! What a pleasant place to be. At first I wanted to knock the managers teeth in because of how he treated his staff...you know those doos looking type Okes with their water blown up muscles yeah that type. But after ripping him a new one, the manager changed his attitude and Toad became the place I enjoy going to. The FOOD is delicious! The BEER is delicious!! Lol The staff are really awesome and friendly So to the Toad, keep doing what you do as I appreciate you.
Pargo should not be considered as a courier because they're absolutely useless. They advertise 2 days delivery but when they email you it's up to 5 days. Some people have received later than 5 days. I ordered something for fathers day but it won't be arriving which means your service is ****. Its 3 days now and I'm based in Cape town which where Pargo is based so why should it take longer than 3 days. Don't waste your time using this company all the reviews on their website aren't even real reviews. It's either made up or paid for reviews. People are paid to make up some **** so they can look good. Youre a joke Pargo.
