For me, Courier Guy had been one of the favourite and flagship companies in SA - clean, professional, friendly, fast, efficient. That is door to door. I tried Pudo today and I had a ton of ice water in the face. Both the website and mobile app is difficult to navigate, understand and use - an exact opposite of the Courier Guy web app where you can find your data within minutes. Registration first - why not have a simple matrix containing the costs? Where is the "How to" help? My first shock was to find the kiosk in Centurion closed - with a handwritten piece of paper stuck on the safety door - no explanation, no other information - no notice on the website. Websites and apps are part the shopfront of any business - and should be taken care of.
Amazing how similar businesses with similar products in the same city differ in customer service. Kloppers phoned me a few times to report on the availability and progress of my order. Courier Guy delivered it in Gauteng within a week! Quicker than local businesses. The other (well known) company (in the same city) sold me a second hand set for the same product (I accepted that, I was desperate to get the set), but more than half of the delivered set was missing... The head office declined to send an available set. To add insult to injury, I had to pay the couriers!
Great service. Ordered item Friday after enquired about stock availability, was delivered Tuesday in Gauteng. One step was missing though, they could have sent me the waybill detail without me having to call - but the lady phoned me back, and I had the information.
SB mobile app has let me down on numerous occasions as it is very counter intuitive how it changes accounts between viewing balance and paying. One reviews your balance of one account and when paying you have to SALECT the SAME account as they DECIDE which is the default account for paying. I have logged numerous complaints about this with no response. Sadly, after 45 years, you are going to loose a customer...
