On the 26th of Jan 2026 we had thunderstorms and lightning, unfortunately our transformer got damaged. I haven’t had electricity since then. Apparently Eskom says we’ll get power back end of March. I phoned Vumatel to ask not to debit my account for the service that I won’t be using, they said I must give 15 days notice. Hello for goodness sake how do I give notice on an unforeseen circumstance? They bill me in advance, I just asked not to be billed, I don’t have power. I have been trying to get hold of them again for a refund. Their phone service absolutely terrible. I would hold for more than an hour until I hang up no one to help. I phoned for 3 consecutive days but till this day no help.
Ever since the introduction of online shopping, I have never looked back. But with this Pirates online store is nonsense. I have never experienced such a pathetic and disgusting and frustrating experience. I should have read the reviews first before placing my order with them. I regret every bit of it. No communication, no answer when calling the number on the invoice, sending emails no response. I feel like I have been ****med here. Over 3 weeks and has been quiet with my order. Big Warning: DONT BUY ON THIS PLATFORM. I need my money back I don’t even know how I’m gonna get it back. ****!!!

Very disappointed with the lack of service I’m getting from Takealot. I ordered products on the 25th of May 2024 and till this day I haven’t received my order, it’s over 9 days now and I paid for that delivery for crying out loud. I am very unhappy and no communication, nothing! First I’m experiencing this much disappointment from Takealot.
I wrote a review few weeks back about how bad and heartbreaking I have been treated by Pineapple insurance. Things did not get any better I wrote my second review but was deleted by the insurance and this my 3rd review. In my entire life this is the worst experience ever! after dragging my claim, 2 months later my claim gets rejected, thereafter no one got back to me regarding me getting my car back and I had to organize my own towing to get my car back. I'm actually in tears thinking of the bad treatment I have been getting since day 1. if you think of joining Pineapple insurance you better not think twice I would think 10 times if I were you. I am talking from experience and a bad one for that matter!
Pineapple worst insurance ever! 30 days has passed, the rental car contract has been terminated by the insurance now left stranded with no transport but my claim hasn't been resolved. I keep on sending e mails, using the App no one cares to respond. It is really frustrating and disappointing to be treated this way. Is this how customers should be treated?

I got hijacked and submitted all the required documents only to find out from the autobody that was supposed to fix my car, that my car is a write off. Everytime i have been calling I wyze insurance begging for an update. I mean is it hard for them to keep me posted. i have been sending e mails almost everyday to the people handling my claim but no reply. its hard to through over the phone and when you do, you will be on that call over 20 min. still with nothing tangible. I have never been so disappointed in my life. when you're going through a hard time the very least you can get is a good service. After all this has been resolved I'm calling it quits with the insurance. I am very annoyed!
